Lady at work keeps pestering me about where I got my outfit for a colleagues wedding. I don’t want to say because she constantly wants to know where I get my stuff from then gets it. It makes me feel unoriginal (even though I am). I tell her normally but this dress is like a hidden gem for me and I just don’t want to share it I want to keep to myself and she’s not pleasant person anyway.

I need some boutique shop names please in London. The dress was short, white, cinched in at the hips, and long sleeve. Great material too.

Normally, I don’t care but this time I’m sort of like, no I’m not letting you know

Also just in case anyone’s angry it’s white the dress code was “wear white” I know the rules!!

OP who remembers the name of a boutique abroad? Where have you been? Just Google ladies boutiques in Amalfi or wherever you’ve been if she keeps tabs on your hols.

TK Maxx has expensive stuff sometimes. Its a great choice as a lie as they have such random stuff in that it won't be odd that she can't find it.

and make up some brand that doesn exist

Brick lane vintage market... there is quite a range from football shirts to some fabulous vintage and vintage inspired hand made dresses.
