My teen would love to live there - she has bats hanging from her ceiling, and posters featuring skulls and a (plastic) skeleton bird on the head of her bed. Loves plants too. This is like her spiritual home!

It would depend on what was agreed by both parties. It may be that what you see is very much what you are getting, and that the house being in that state is all part of the agreement.
