Couldn't see a thread for this already but apologies if I'm doubling up!

The court case for the alleged kidnap plot has started and it sounds absolutely horrific. Whatever anyone feels about her as a 'sleb', this must have been incredibly frightening and you can really understood why she's hidden away for so long. It makes for some very grim reading.

Good sentence. It must have been horrific to have to hear what he had planned, what he wanted to do.
And he had form.. Just shows the “ lesser” though equally horrible and scary things he did to 2 air stewardesses and two teenagers in a shop escalated.
And well done the American undercover cop who was on the ball. He has got this guy off the streets so other women are safer.

A minimum term sentence is good, but terrifying still to think he'd be out in his 50s. I can't imagine a man like that changing.

It was really shocking that he didn't go to prison for attempting to kidnap the stewardesses. Absolutely appalling.
