Most women don’t like seeing naked men?

Talking about strippers and how a lot of men seem to like the female body / stare at women. Talking in our group of friends and I don’t think women are the same and seeing a man topless does nothing for me. I’m talking super buff and has a good body too, I’m much more attracted based on personality and find the cockiness of thinking they are gods gift to women a turn off.

Only one friend said they love seeing naked / topless men and finds it sexual.

Someone mentioned Colin Bridgeton taking his shirt off upthread - it's a perfect example. I find him attractive when he takes his shirt off at the start and when he's with Penelope, but not at all attractive when he takes it off to sleep with prostitutes.

@MsCactus I think the difference is that men don't seem to care that they are paying for it. They will still enjoy it.

For me, I couldn't enjoy it knowing that the guy was only doing it because I was paying him.

That would be a massive turn off, to the point where I just don't think I could ever go through with it.

Men don't seem to care. Which I find hard to get my head around.

Well, the attitude of the women I have seen when a male stripper is swinging his willy around seems to show some like it 🤣
I feel like that is often excitement at being with friends doing something 'naughty' rather than actually going crazy with desire at a naked man

I definitely appreciate a very good looking man in clothes or not, there just aren’t that many of them about!

That reminds me of the line from Oliver's Travels about how a woman, naked except for stockings, looks intensely erotic, but a man, naked except for socks, looks utterly ludicrous.

A man with a great body, not too plump or too skinny, not waxed totally hairless - heck yeah I like that.
My local pub used to have a set of naked male pictures on the walls. They were very popular and I never heard any negative comments. Oddly and alas they graduallly disappeared .....

Oh I like a topless man with a good set of shoulders, broad chest, smattering of chest hair… not walking down the street though. Topless men in public feels threatening and gross.
I also don’t know why so many women say penises aren’t attractive. They really are to me, although, again, not disembodied random ones in dick pics. But a hot naked aroused man that you WANT to look at… Hell yes!

@Catsmere I'm so with you on the "naked man still wearing socks" thing. I'm not proud of my shallowness around this but I found it very off putting when I realised (often) that EXH was still wearing socks when we were having sex.

I hadn't realised that this was such a common feeling.

I find a strong male body attractive- not overly muscly- just rugged, with big shoulders, broad chest, strong arms.....

It feels very shallow to care- but not many men of a similar age to me seem to look like that anymore. It's also pretty hypocritical given my body is aging too.....

I can't find younger men who have that physique sexually attractive. I can appreciate that they are technically good looking but I can't find them attractive. It just feels wrong whereas I believe men feel no awkwardness about being sexually attracted to women much younger than them.

I hate male strippers and male “pin ups” do nothing for me. I don’t like men “displayed” as passive objects.

But I like male bodies.

For me it's all about the voice. Personality too of course, but the voice is super important.

Won't forget the first time I heard Idris Elba speak in Real Rock n Rolla, pure sex. That movie had some very sexy voices (Tom Hardy, Mark Strong).

Funny thing about the scene was that the characters, Diane and Oliver (Sinéad Cusack and Alan Bates) eventually put it to the test and decided that yes, it was quite true. Which given this was Alan Bates at sixty and, well, cuddly at best by then, wasn't surprising!

I doubt that 'strip clubs' are full of men laughing at the naked women, quite the opposite, whereas a male stripper tends to engender hilarity rather than lust, as mentioned above. Not the same thing at all.

Reproduction requires intercourse but intercourse is fraught with dangers for women. That's why mere sight is usually not enough. It would be too risky to use this factor alone as mate selection.

A Woman needs to be reassured that the man will not hurt her and be a reliable, long term partner. Hence more focus on character than looks.

Well I feel very much in the minority here! Given my profession, I grew up reading Men's Fitness which I always presumed catered to half a bodybuilder and half a gay men audience (if you are familiar with the magazine you'll know what I mean) 😁.

As a consequence I'm very used to seeing and also very partial to seeing ripped guys posing around in shorts, with a good tan lol. Nothing wrong in that.
