Anyone been back to Frankie & Benny's since 2020?

I've only heard recently it was taken over by The Big Table (who own Cafe Rouge) and that it launched some kind of menu which was remiscent of that from 2003 last year.

Any thought about F&B in general?

Not been to one for about ten, fifteen years

When I was a kid it was always a treat to go to Frankie & Benny's. Our local one was in one of those out of town retail parks with a cinema. Sometimes we'd go to the cinema afterwards.

Happy memories! Wouldn't go to one now, it might ruin all the nostalgia 😂

Used to love it. Went to the Edinburgh one a lot before cinema. Not really been any good since about 2011.

No, I don't I've been to one since my daughters 16th in 2015, but my nephew posted a photo today of him and his six year old in a F&B celebrating Father's Day before watching movie close by

Not been since the 90s. Was rubbish then.

Our 2 local ones have closed. Used to love it for their gluten free kids menu 😥

Our local one closed mid Pandemic.

One in our city centre is still there though and we've been a couple of times lately. Mostly due to being ravenous after long shopping sessions. The kids menu is still fantastic value and I got a perfectly decent pizza for a tenner.

Ours is in Eldon Square in a food area next door to The Alchemist. Now that is an overpriced load of old tripe!

Last time I was there was in 2010 with DH, several hours later I was on the toilet shitting my innards out while DH had his head in the sink vomiting. Happy days.

Four years later, DS went there on a nursery trip for some activity or other, later that evening he felt unwell and puked up all over the floor of Asda. I really don't miss F&B tbh!
