Your thoughts?

I find myself impressed by Angela Rayner

Wasntmeanttobelikethis · 13/06/2024 20:43

Penny’s hair looks better

Springwatch123 · 13/06/2024 20:47

Claire ‘s got more confident.

Thus debate is being ‘debated’ more, rather than each person answering the question.

Angela looks stunning in that colour; she had really blossomed as a politician during this campaign

Wasntmeanttobelikethis · 13/06/2024 20:48

Has

DizzyDandilion · 13/06/2024 20:54

Penny wearing less hairspray...

Wasntmeanttobelikethis · 13/06/2024 20:54

Where is everyone tonight?

L1ttledrummergirl · 13/06/2024 21:06

Just found this. Raynor knows her brief, Mordaunt is a stuck record- party of lower taxes, Labour will raise taxes. She thinks we are too thick to notice that we are worse off due to stealth taxes.

Farage is obsessed, seems a one trick pony.
I quite like the rest so far, some good ideas between them.

Tracker1234 · 13/06/2024 21:13

1 in 30 people have arrived in the last 2 years. Is that true?

Romeiswheretheheartis · 13/06/2024 21:17

Just had to switch off, can't bear watching Penny Mordaunt talking over Angela Rayner every time it's her turn to speak, and not being pulled up on it.

L1ttledrummergirl · 13/06/2024 21:19

I was about to say the same. Mordaunt is being so disrespectful. Let other people talk, it's not the Penny wannabe Thatcher show.

DizzyDandilion · 13/06/2024 21:21

Rishi allowed to interrupt and also, Penny...seems an odd yet consistent pattern in these debates.

Wasntmeanttobelikethis · 13/06/2024 21:24

Turning onto the Penny and Angela show again
Penny is awful ; hope her constituents are watching

Springwatch123 · 13/06/2024 21:31

Penny seems more on form (and less miserable ) today.

OP posts:
L1ttledrummergirl · 13/06/2024 21:33

Penny knows how hard it is to have to rely on food banks, at risk of losing your home- but she, and her fucking party caused this.
The tories celebrate food banks opening for fucks sake.

She's either in cloud cuckoo land, or she's a liar.

Springwatch123 · 13/06/2024 21:35

That speech was longer from the Welshman than total in the previous debate. He seems to have found his voice.

OP posts:
Sunhatweather · 13/06/2024 21:39

I find the Welsh guy very irritating. I’m no fan of Angela, but he continually interrupts her.

L1ttledrummergirl · 13/06/2024 21:40

I'm surprised labour haven't said that they would remove the two child cap on child benefit when finances allow. It would be a future aim, rather than a manifesto promise and take them away from the conservatives.

L1ttledrummergirl · 13/06/2024 21:45

Mordaunt, stfu

coffeandteav · 13/06/2024 21:46

Penny is like that annoying person in a meeting who will not shut up.

Charlie2121 · 13/06/2024 21:50

Farage absolutely wiped the floor with them all.

In much the same way as Labour will easily win this election by effectively saying nothing and just commenting on Conservative failures, Farage and/or a new right of centre Conservative Party will walk it in 2029 without having to do much at all.

L1ttledrummergirl · 13/06/2024 21:54

Farage is a one trick pony, there has been no floor wiping from him. Same old, same old all the immigrants fault, blame the nasty immigrants who are taking everyone's benefits.

tobee · 13/06/2024 21:55

I think Farage's bubble will burst soon enough if he becomes an MP.

SackOfShitandRegrets · 13/06/2024 21:55

Penny needs to STFU!!!!!

Yes he blamed the dire state of school funding on immigration. When roles are actually falling.
