You missed "Vic" Derbyshire in action on Newsnight last night. She was interviewing Cleverly and Ashworth. I have never seen two men look so scared to be interviewed. She laid into both of them and Ashworth looked relieved when she ask Cleverly the last question about Cleverly becoming Tory leader after Sunak loses.

Tom Swarbrick on LBC interviewed a Transport undersecretary, Browne, and Ashworth before the debate. Browne got really snippy then angry then finally said he hadn't read his party's (Tory) manifesto so couldn't answer any questions. Ashworth, being scared by Swarbrick's questioning of Browne had to ask Swarbrick to repeat the first question. (Swarbrick worked for Teresa May.)

So there are other interviewers who can pull politicians apart.

I often think interviewers and journalists are disrespectful and impolite. A good interviewer gives people a fair chance to respond. They just want to get brownie points from colleagues and display their own biases. If they are so clever let them get into Government and show the rest of us their brilliance.

I flippin love Beth Rigby!! She is so good at her job.

As long as that feeble, lying brilcreamed lump of lard is being savaged by somebody, I really don't mind who it is!!!

She's hardly a "cut above the rest". Sunak's interview made him look the slime ball and liar he is. Sooner he has gone the better.
