What show shall I see in London?

In September, so that rules out some that are closing soon.

I've seen all the big main shows (wicked, misérables, lion king etc) bar Hamilton. Any other recommendations?

Love musicals but would do a play if it was brilliant.

Thanks!

I saw Cabaret a few weeks ago. It was BRILLIANT. Highly recommend.

JollyHostess101 · 11/06/2024 22:10

Six!!

QueenOfWeeds · 11/06/2024 22:10

Operation Mincemeat.

I would see it over and over again if I could. Cabaret and Six also excellent though!

The Play that Goes Wrong! is one I really enjoyed. Normally, I don't do comedies, but it had me in stitches for the first 15mins non-stop. That's very rare for me.

Operation Mincemeat! I cried laughing, it's amazing

Witness for the Prosecution; incredible.

Hilarious. As the family member of a murder victim I find that in very poor taste.

We’re off to Hadestown on Friday, I have heard great things.
If it is still on by Sept, Guys and Dolls at the Bridge Theatre is absolutely unmissable. I’ve been twice. The standing tickets are great and only £40.

That is literally the point of these tickets. You really are a nasty piece of work aren’t you?

midlifepisces · 11/06/2024 22:58

How am I going to fit all these shows in 😩
Really fancying
Guys and dolls
Cabaret

Cabaret at the Kit Kat club is excellent. If you like something a bit scary, go see 2:22. Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder (musical) is good fun, I saw an early version at Edinburgh Festival but they’re about to bring a longer version to the West End. Or how about Standing at the Sky’s Edge?

Singleandproud · 11/06/2024 23:06

I went to see Hades Town last month bought tickets on the day at the end of row F loads of leg room as no seats in front of me and a great view, a very intimate theatre.
