What show shall I see in London?

In September, so that rules out some that are closing soon.

I've seen all the big main shows (wicked, misérables, lion king etc) bar Hamilton. Any other recommendations?

Love musicals but would do a play if it was brilliant.

Thanks!

How am I going to fit all these shows in 😩
Really fancying
Guys and dolls
Cabaret
Operation mincemeat
Possibly Hadestown, Six, Hamilton...

From this list I’ve seen Operation Mincemeat, Guys & Dolls, Six and Cabaret and would rank them in that order. Really enjoyed the first three and would highly recommend, Cabaret was well done but I didn’t love it. Operation Mincemeat the best by some distance.

I went to see Hades Town last month bought tickets on the day at the end of row F loads of leg room as no seats in front of me and a great view, a very intimate theatre.

Did you enjoy it?

OP, the Stranger Things play is also very good.

Yes, I'm glad I saw it. Probably wouldn't be high on my 'to see again' list but it was good and I'd recommend it. Hades is fantastic and very imposing. I think sitting any further forward would be an issue particularly if you have asthma as there is quite a bit of smoke and it probably obscure part of the stage too if you are close to the front.

I also got tickets for Hamilton that evening and managed to get row C stalls 3 in from the end of the aisle and the view was only obscured a tiny bit when they were on the left hand balcony £55 bargain. Last time I saw it with DD during kids week we were miles away in the Grand Circle and couldn't really see their faces, I was practically in spitting distance so just as well Josh Groff wasn't King

Saw Hades Town, loved it. It’s more of a “vibe” than a huge story-driven multi-scene musical (eg Guys and Dolls, Waitress, Dear Evan Hansen or Les Mis) but it felt really fresh.

I still have Guys and Dolls at the Bridge (standing tickets) as my number one most amazing musical experience to recommend to everyone. The standing is not hard work at all and it’s leagues apart from a normal theatre experience. I’ve been twice.
