For me having the Greater spotted woodpecker that visits our bird feeders bring her baby to the feeder and watching her feeding him. ( You can tell by males having a red head. )

My babies eating all their tea despite insisting they don't like/don't want it (before they tried it). They then had a twister ice lolly and still hungry, so three bacon sandwiches on their way!

BuggeryBumFlaps · 09/06/2024 17:51

Sitting outside and my dog wanted to come and sit on me for a cuddle

shellyleppard · 09/06/2024 17:51

The blackbirds telling me off cos there was no food on the shed roof 😔 feeding frenzy every day lately x yesterday she brought her babies in 😍

EatCrow · 09/06/2024 17:52

That’s beautiful ❤️. In a similar vein a little robin’s made itself known to me a few times since I recently moved. Even better, the new feeder I bought before I came means the robin can feed on it too as it doesn’t have to try and balance.

@EatCrow I love having the birds in our garden. The shed has a flat roof so it's a year round bird café ❤️ blackbirds, sparrows, great tits, magpies, jackdaws, crows, starlings, wood pigeons and the occasional doves

My amaryllis has set seeds....
Going to give them toy dad and see if he can grow them 😀

DS’s team won a tournament today - their first win at an event like this (after many losses)

The joy on their little faces as the final whistle went and they ran towards each other on the pitch to celebrate made me beam with pride.

The snails still being in the snail hotel my dd 5 made 3 days ago in the garden, she loves to rescue stranded snails and my mum brings her unwanted snails round. She was so happy the snails are still there and has taken them out some salad snacks.

Watching my dd take a wicket as the only girl in her U13s cricket team.

My daughter just arrived with a warm Sourdough Cob she’d just made and some homemade Meusili.

Baby bunny rabbits when out for a very early morning bike ride. I kept apologising for disturbing them and ruining their peace 😄

At church this morning the minister's toddler escaped from his mum and set off towards the altar, pointing enthusiastically at his dad. Sadly for the little boy he was scooped up before he could start climbing the steps.

LuluBlakey1 · 09/06/2024 18:20

Blackbirds and their babies in the garden, blue tits at the bird feeders hurrying back to their nesting box, a green woodpecker on the tree at the bottom of the garden. Our big tom cat (14) putting his paws round my neck for a cuddle and a snuggle before he did one of his mad runs round the garden.

Swallows under my porch have hatched and I can see their little yellow mouths poking up at the edge of the nest. They are very noisy when the parent comes

Springwatch123 · 09/06/2024 18:24

nice walk with dog

UpUpUpU · 09/06/2024 18:28

My young pony who has recently started being ridden, offered me her first jump over a pole in the ground and seemed to really enjoy it.

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 09/06/2024 18:35

My teenaged DD just came down and hugged me. She's ASD and is really struggling at the moment. She had a really bad day yesterday. There were a lot of tears. She just said thank you.

My Goldie DDog frolicking through long grass. Happiness personified

Reading about the 100 year old WW2 veteran marrying his 96 year old bride in France this week...and her saying they get some action!

ShipshapeShore · 09/06/2024 18:44

Wine. Sad but true.

TheFairyCaravan · 09/06/2024 18:52

A video of DGS screeching with laughter in his Jumperoo. We don’t live nearby so DDIL sends us lots of pictures and videos of him. She’s an amazing mummy.

MaMisled · 09/06/2024 18:58

Waking up in my new tent in a sun streaked forest, with my old dog wrapped round my head and my 7 month old puppy inside my sleeping bag. Bliss.

Marshmallowbrain · 09/06/2024 19:01

We were travelling back home from Cornwall to London and travelled through the town where my Nan and Grandad lived, it was so nostalgic and lovely. I bought a plant and put it on their grave 🥰

ZZGirl · 09/06/2024 19:01

I climbed Snowdon

My 3yo bringing me some water in bed because I've had meningitis. She said 'keep drinking mummy to make you better' 🩷
