Why does Tom Jones look younger than Cliff Richard at 84?

Cliff Richard is the same age but looks a lot older even though he colours his hair and Tom doesn't.

Just one of the mysteries of life..

I think it's all the sex lusty Tom has had over the years, as opposed to celibate Cliff. Plus Cliff is very, very lean. A bit of excess fat as you age plumps up the wrinkles.

Tom Jones is a more vigorous person and when you get into your 70s and 80s that is what makes you look older or younger. I notice this with people my parents age - it isn't smoother skin or styling that makes the difference, or even posture or using a stick etc, it is energy and focus and vitality.

But in fairness they both look great for their age.

Colouring hair makes people look older when it's obviously not their natural colour.
When TJ gave into the grey/white, he looked much younger than when it was dyed jet black.

Cliff is quite slim and it shows in his face Tom is stockier and has a square face with the beard he does look better not younger imo, I'd imagine they have both had tweakments here and there.

Tom carries a wee bit more weight which pads out the wrinkles😂

Tom jones wife died recently I'm not sure how recent but they had been married since they were 16. Tom had numerous affairs and "encounters" and a couple of extra marital children so he's had a colourful life maybe that keeps you looking young?
