It's June !! Forecast where I am this week (midlands) cloud and rain - highs of 16
No wonder my mental health is the way it is, a little vitamin D would be nice !!

I'm just greatful when it doesn't rain 🤣

Octavia64 · 05/06/2024 07:24

It's in Newcastle.

I'm on holiday there for a week and it's lovely. Sorry everywhere else!

allofthelove · 05/06/2024 07:24

It's in Newcastle . I'm taking the dog for a long walk to soak it up this morning . Although I can't imagine it's going to be around for very long .

WilmaFlintstone1 · 05/06/2024 07:25

Sun is out in Essex but I hear your pain. It’s been so overcast.

decionsdecisions62 · 05/06/2024 07:25

Mallorca- just returned.

ElephantsDontReadFantasy · 05/06/2024 07:25

County Durham has it too. It’s blue skies and beauty out of my window. Sorry!

Bumbleoranhe · 05/06/2024 07:25

It’s on the south coast too 😎

Westfacing · 05/06/2024 07:27

'Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze' in London today, and max of 16 degrees.

At least it's dry!

Willmafrockfit · 05/06/2024 07:30

it was so lovely the other day! just perfect and then it rained

OhBeAFineGuyKissMe · 05/06/2024 07:31

Beautiful sunny skies in Hampshire this morning.

It has been a warm damp spring so more overcast that usual but temperatures have been high.

I agree it's been a very wet spring. But i'm surprised you think the temeperatures were high, my heating was on more than it was off.

It's not too bad here this morning, about 14° and the sky is that funny blue colour, rather than the usual grey. 😆

OhLaurie · 05/06/2024 07:40

Apparently it’s coming, massive heatwave heading our way in the next few weeks.
Tbh, I’d rather have grey clouds and rain than a heatwave.
Why can’t we have a nice pleasant comfortably warm summer? It’s all or nothing in this country.

scalt · 05/06/2024 07:45

It’s all those Mumsnetters moaning every year about how much they hate the sun. Their wish has come true. That, and the doom and gloom of global warming they keep banging on about.

Keep hopeful, though. In previous years, all the nice weather has been in early June, while the teenagers and children are stuck in school, followed by cold July and August. Perhaps they will actually get some nice weather in their summer holidays.

EasternStandard · 05/06/2024 07:46

Here in London atm

You know global warming is real.. right?

Global warming doesn't mean all areas of the world heat up uniformly 🙄 that's why we call it climate change in 2024 because it refers to the global change in climate due to overall rising temperatures.

Summerfreezemakesmedrinkwine · 05/06/2024 07:56

We have a high of 14c today with rain on the cards. Bleugh.

tinytemper66 · 05/06/2024 07:56

In South Wales. Some clouds but sun is shining ☀️

EasilyDefined · 05/06/2024 07:59

It's beautiful here in the SE this morning. It definitely was a warm damp spring for us, hardly any frosts, heating hardly came on after about Feb but we have't seen too much sunshine apart from the first week in May. Sunday was perfect, 22° sunny and breezy, I'd like more of that but no hotter.

vacay · 05/06/2024 08:00

My heating has come on in the morning twice this week !!
The sun is out atm which looks lovely, but it will soon disappear never to be seen again for what seems like ever.
Jealous of those on the east/south coasts. Enjoy !!

It's now summer and my heating clicked on yesterday.

Raining this morning.

North west.

TheChosenTwo · 05/06/2024 08:04

Blue skies here in the SE (Surrey/Hants border), until 10am where it’s predicted to cloud over for the rest of the day. Currently 10 degrees and predicted ‘highs’ of 14 for the day. I’ll take the blue skies though, I’m just going out for a walk to soak in the vitamin D before logging on for work.

flyingwingsabove · 05/06/2024 08:04

7 degrees, cloudy and rain forecast here. Perthshire.

Whinge · 05/06/2024 08:05

heating hardly came on after about Feb

I'm jealous. 🫨 My heating has been on more than it's been off. It's been a really chilly spring where I am, and i'm not usually one to feel the cold.

fourelementary · 05/06/2024 08:08

Abroad just now and instead of high 20s as expected it’s bloody cloudy and going to rain over the weekend. In the canaries!!! 🤷🏻‍♀️😳
