Taylor tickets

thisisasurvivor · 30/05/2024 12:21

My friends daughter sadly died due to a brain tumour

Two oldest girls would love to see Taylor swift

Trying to get them tickets

Any reputable sites that anyone has used?

They will go anywhere in Europe

Thanks in advance

Only buy from axs or ticket master. Tickets must be sold through them to be transferred. Do not pay anyone for tickets.

TimeZonePlantPot · 30/05/2024 12:35

Sorry to hear about your friend. Good advice from @trevthecat Ibe no idea how much they will be going for at this point. I think friend paid £500 for hers at release point

thisisasurvivor · 30/05/2024 12:42

Thank you will keep looking

I’m debating selling mine (THIS IS NOT A SALES COMMENT) and ticketmaster will give me back what I paid which seems to suggest to me that that’s what they’ll sell for?

(seriously please no one message me. I mentioned this previously and had messages. If I’m not going I am NOT selling them privately and will do it via ticketmaster).

good luck!

I would happily pay extra if you can transfer them

If. Not I totally understand

Will check the proper site each day

Thanks all

I feel like such a Debbie Downer saying this, especially given the sad circumstances. But it will be extremely difficult for you to get tickets, do not get your hopes up. They originally went on sale almost a year ago and it was incredibly competitive, to the point there was never even a general sale - just the Midnights pre-sale and the invite only sale. Her popularity does not seem to have waned since then, if anything the hunger for tickets has grown.

As per PP the only way to get tickets safely is to:

  1. know someone personally who has tickets and is prepared to sell them to you. They must be someone you entirely trust (you would bank transfer them £3k and have zero concerns about them paying you back level of trust). You also must trust that they have not been scammed themselves and got tickets legitimately.
  2. buy from Ticketmaster or AXS official resale. They will 100% be legit and are price capped. You need to make it your job to be refreshing these obsessively as many fans who missed out on tickets are doing the same. They are rare though.

There will be tickets on Stub-Hub and Viagogo and the likes, but this is a risk. There is a high chance they will be scam tickets and even if they are real there is a chance they will be invalidated as it goes against the terms to resell via any other means. Of course you could also be lucky and have legit tickets that don't get cancelled, but you can't be assured of this until your ticket is successfully scanned (or not) at the gate.

Last note. Depending on the age of the girls and if you are considering standing tickets - ensure you know the rules for standing at the stadium you buy tickets at. Some it is over 14, some over 16, and some over 12.

Twickets had some in France the other day. Twickets is fave value or less. Payment via PayPal.

mitogoshi · 30/05/2024 13:05

Write to local radio station or the promotor, they probably can't help but worth a try, they always keep tickets back for promotions and competitions

Sorry when they were first released last year. I’m not sure if she had presale or a code, but that was the cheapest she could get when they went on general sale. So I’d guess they’d be a lot more now

legitimate resale is capped. I think TM allow upto 15% and AXS 25% increase on purchase price. Most Swifities are inflating the price just enough to cover the fees they incurred, but not much more when reselling.

Obviously other sites the tickets can be listed for whatever, and FOMO is a great price driver, so could be a Wild West. But I don't think they will go much higher than £500. Even during the sales when panic buying and pressure to get tickets was rife, many of most expensive £660 packages stuck around and were eventually stripped of the package and sold as face value.

So helpful

Many thanks all

Will continue trying

I just feel so bad after all they went through

You can put an alert on I think for twickets. Euro tickets may be slightly cheaper. This is the hottest ticket right now so you are going to have to be lucky. You use Viagogo or StubHub at your peril.

thisisasurvivor · 30/05/2024 14:01

May stick with axs tickets I think ?!

15 in total showing for 3/6 at Groupama stadium a few mins ago. One accepting offers

Sammysquiz · 30/05/2024 14:49

If you’re using AXS don’t check too many times in one sitting. It will think you’re a bot and will ban you for 24 hours. I found this out the hard way!

The resale ticket sites are different for each country too. For Germany, Austria and Italy (I think), tickets must be bought and sold through OE Tickets.
