Weirdest thing you’ve lost in your house

I was thinking about this again this morning as I do a tidy up. About 2 years ago I bought a little paper Guillotine it was a bit longer than A4 and half the width, black plastic. Not a small easily misplaced thing. I used it maybe 6 times and I kept it in our craft cupboard. One day I went to use it and it simply wasn’t there! I looked all over the place and it’s just never resurfaced - my child and partner simply wouldn’t have thought about moving it or using it and it puzzles me on a regular basis.
What random things have disappeared in your house? Did they ever turn up again ?

Nose ring! I was cooking dinner and heard it fall out and hit the floor. I combed through the entire contents of the dinner and it was definitely not in there, but it wasn’t on the floor either! Nothing it could have rolled under, didn’t fall in any drawers, not caught on my clothes. Just vanished!
