Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, watching the rain outside & deciding what to do with the day.

I think I'll stick the rhinestones on another t-shirt for Eras and list a few things on Vinted. Hopefully bump up our total for Eras merch when we go.

I'll have a quick tidy round now, before I do that though, try and make the kitchen more presentable.

I've no idea what the girls are planning to do - probably more "Suits" for dd1, and dd2 was working through her homework yesterday so I expect she'll finish that.

Roast chicken for tea, with roast spuds & cauli cheese 😋 followed by an early shower and probably an early night for me. I think I fancy a self-care shower - face mask/hair mask/shave etc - try and pick myself up a bit.

DH is on holiday with friends for the bank hol so just me at home. I've been swimming which was dreadful as it was really busy and everyone gave me the rage!

I was supposed to be meeting a friend for a walk but it's throwing it down with rain so we might just go for coffee instead.

Then I've got to finish some work if I can motivate myself.

Working today and tomorrow (and yesterday).

Well I had planned a day's gardening but looking at the current downpour,that plan has been abandoned. Plan B is to stay in bed most of the day.

House in disarray- was decorated recently. Main aim to un.pack a bit and find curtains. Might prep some lessons so can do nothing for remainder of half term

Morning! I'm currently in bed having a lazy morning playing on my phone whilst DD lies next to me chatting about Minecraft and playing on her switch. Getting up shortly to take the dog for a walk and then we are off out for lunch today for my dad's birthday. My uncle died recently and left a collection of hundreds of records, so this afternoon we are getting the record player out and going to listen to some and each choose some records to keep. Imagine tea will be toasties or something similarly simple given big lunch and maybe a film tonight - my brother is visiting and is always good for film recommendations.

Still in bed with a cup of tea looking at hotels for a trip to Harrogate next month.
I'm off out for a board game season this afternoon that my friend has organised in a pub.
Later on I'll cook dinner and then scour the internet for a late summer break and enjoy the fact I'm off work on Monday.

We’re at the airport waiting to fly to the UK, our gates open so we’re going to wait as long as possible to board so the kids aren’t waiting around as long. We’re off to big weekend in Luton for the day, I never thought I’d be going to Luton for a day out. Beautiful weather for it too…

Just waiting for food shopping to arrive.

DP and oldest DC are out for the day.

Grey and a bit nippy here. Accuweather says rain in imminent so that's kind of thwarted our plans. We were going to go for a scoot / roller skate and then head to local outdoor "hippy" market with an amazing food hall that sells every cuisine imagineable plus stalls selling things you can take home like baked goods / olives / fudge etc (I was going to treat us to a Pad Thai for lunch) but there is very little indoor seating! Such a shame.

May leave it until later and hope the weather picks up. If not I'll book us in for swimming later.

Dinner is going to be something easy - probably chicken kebabs with pitta, salad and dips.

I think we would all.olve photos of your Era's outfits when they are done, you have put so much effort in.

Morning lucysmam & the Sunday gang! Still in bed & have had a cuppa. Really enjoy tea since I quit drinking. Not sure what we’re doing today, especially as the weather is very unpredictable. I need to get spuds for roasties - will pop to Tesco Express as the main shop will no doubt be heaving. Doing an Iceland pork crackling joint from frozen with said roasties, carrots, peas & wholemeal parsley & thyme stuffing for tea. There are 2 loads of washing to tumble dry & the dishwasher needs unloading/loading. DH might go for a bike ride later but again it depends on the weather.

Good morning @lucysmam and all. I'm drinking tea in bed...had a late and slightly boozy night with friends who stayed over so no one has emerged yet.

We're going out for lunch with them, then nothing much for the rest of the day - no doubt once they set off for home it will be a slob in front of the TV kind of afternoon and an early night. The weather is foul here today.

Still in bed with some toast. Dc8 is up playing Mario kart and dc13 still asleep.

Need to go food shopping this afternoon, waiting to see if it thunderstorms or not as dc8 wants to go to the local country park.

Then this evening need to dismantle my sofa as I have new ones coming tomorrow.

Slow morning here we've all lazed round on the couch/in bed and I've done croissants for everyone which was lovely.

Food shop about to be delivered so need to put that away this morning.

No real plans for today which is quite nice really, it's forecast rain all day. I might get in the greenhouse I've got some courgette seeds to plant.

So a nice cosy home day.

We are debating treating ourselves to a takeaway for tea tonight we haven't had once since march and it used to be every weekend so we've cut down so much!

Need to shift my butt into the shower and take the dogs for a walk. I have a 'date' with my daughter for lunch at noon (she's a typical teen would sleep half the day away so we've made a deal she needs the get up in the morning as she finds it very hard to get up when it's college).
I need to do some cleaning - I've been saying I must vacuum the downstairs for about four days now!
Homemade soup for lunch, pasta. garlic bread and salad for supper. Could go to shop as know we are almost out of pet food but I think I have just enough for today.
Sun's out after rain all night...right stop procrastinating!

I’ve got lots of chores as we’ve got people coming over tomorrow for a possible BBQ for DSs Birthday.

I don’t feel all that great, just a cold but a bit drained.

DH is asleep as he’s on nights, he’ll join in with the chores when he wakes up so for
now I am scrolling/reading/putting off doing anything.

DS is working 2-10. DH will leave for work around 7.30. DD is going to see Busted later in Brighton.

DH will do dinner before he goes to work. Probably a chicken salad or something else quick to throw together.

No rain here so far. Contemplating hanging washing out.

Good morning @Lucysmam and others. I've been awake since before five. The joys of getting older. 🙄 I've stripped the bed and washed it. It's tumbling away in the drier as I write. The other piles of washing are awaiting their turn. I've had two coffees and a croissant and walked to Aldi for more washing capsules. I got drenched!! I'm now drinking a cuppa and having a warm scone on butter before I make lemon drizzle cake. Dinner will be trout fillet with green beans and possibly potato salad. It's going to be a quiet day for me. I hope you feel better soon.

Not washed the actual bed. Just the bedding!

@mondaytosunday I've just told myself to stop procrastinating too 🙄 I'd be so much more productive if I moved instead of sit scrolling 🤷‍♀️

The weather is atrocious today, heavy rain and thunderstorms apparently on the way so spending the day indoors doing tasks that I've been putting off for weeks.

Currently having a cup of tea whilst I wait for the bedroom walls to dry so I can do a second coat of paint, unfortunately now that the walls look brighter, the gloss looks horrific so if I get time I'll try to redo that.

As it's half term next week we're trying to get DS5 using the toilet and out of nappies, don't expect it to go well if I'm honest

Sitting outside Matalan waiting for it to open so I can buy presentable clothes for my training course next week. If they don't have anything, then it's leggings or jogging bottoms with a nice shirt! 🤣

I have a DIY day planned. Was hoping to cut the grass too but the rain has put paid to that.

It's absolutely throwing it down here so really not sure. Eldest is in his room drawing at the moment and youngest is sat with me watching CBeebies. Dh is cooking a late breakfast.
Don't fancy staying home all day so we'll make a trip out later to somewhere indoors - museum or library maybe. Ds needs a haircut so could pop there too.
Then tonight it'll be a Sunday roast and maybe a glass of wine since it's bank holiday.

DH is at golf although the weather looks like it’s on the turn! Me and DD5 are watching DD2’s private swimming lesson, I’m questioning if she ate some rocks for breakfast as there’s not much swimming going on! She did brilliantly last week, and mostly swam independently… today she is acting like she’s never been in water before! It is quite amusing, her poor teacher! 😅

DD2 will be shattered from swimming, so I’ll pop her in the pushchair for a sleep, while I take DD5 for a hot chocolate and a little shop! Then going to our in laws for dinner later - yum! (we take turns) I’m heavily pregnant so MIL usually offers to bath them at hers, so girls will come home just before bed so my clean house will stay clean! I love Sundays!

Rain here which woke me early so have blitzed downstairs.
Feeling like I have a cold coming on which is Sod’s Law as off on holiday tomorrow.
About to go to bathroom for much needed “self care” before coukd think about a swimsuit! Will shave face/legs/underarms, Nair bikini line, exfoliate everywhere, tint eye brows and put a lifting face mask on (don’t like that but as it lifts so much it’s painful 😱)
Might go for a walk if not too red from said mask and then think my Dad is popping over for a cuppa.
Then will continue packing/ make early dinner then put self tan on (bit nervous as using a brand I’ve never used before so could go very wrong!) Paint nails before bed.
Wake up a goddess 😂

Also try not to read a book I bought for my holiday - I can’t put it down!! Will have nothing to read when I’m there if I’m not careful. It’s called The Paper Palace and is sooo good.
