Well, we had the longest period of sustained low inflation since the 60s, low mortage rates, the National Minimum Wage, 14,000 more police, crime rate cut by 32%, record levels of literacy and numeracy in schools, 36,000 more teachers, 85,000 more nurses, 32,000 more doctors, heart disease deaths down by 150,000 and cancer deaths down by 50,000, paternity leave, Sure Start Childrens Centres, the introduction of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, 600,000 children lifted out of relative poverty, 1 million social homes brought up to standard, 1.8 million people helped to find jobs, free entry to national museums and galleries.
That's where we ended up. That's what can be done if you have the will and invest in the country instead of lining your mates pockets.
