Im a lifelong Labour voter but
unless Starmer gives way on his anti women trans policy I will vote Conservative, I’m not voting to lose my rights and I’m not spoiling my ballot paper what’s the point of that.

It will be a waste of a vote though.

I get it, I've long been interested in gender politics and am GC too. BUT, at the risk of being shouted down, I think it is a bit of a luxury to vote based on this issue alone. I don't like Labour's stance on this. But, I don't think the Tory government are exactly feminist icons either, they don't give a shit about women, only what gets them votes. And so many things are important, you need a functioning society and economy and basic decency first and foremost. Am I enthused about a Labour government? No. Am I enthused about getting this government out? Yes. That has got to come first for me x

Absolutely.
This is one factor, and a significant one for me ( and I don’t have daughters so I’d imagine people with daughters would be more concerned ) but it is not the only one for me. If Labour can prove worth in any of their other policies then we’ll see.

At the moment, they aren’t.
