Got the heating on

Just come back in from work to a damp chilly flat and put the heating on. Can't believe how much the weather's changed since last week - it's damp and foggy and awful. Fed up of using the heating too tbh but I don't want to leave the flat damp either because it gets mouldy 😞😞😞

Anyone else feeling the same?

It’s 21 here but even if it was cold I’d refuse to put the heating on in May - I’d rather freeze 😆

CH went off on April 1st and won't come on again until Nov 1st.

I did use the gas fire in the lounge for a couple of days in April which were really cold.

20 here and sunny.Got shorts and t shirt on.

Its sunny here where I am in Scotland. Am wearing shorts and tshirt and have 2 loads of washing hanging outside

It's sixteen and cloudy here but definitely not heating weather

Its beautiful here in Essex, I'm about to go out in the car with the roof down!

No. I still wouldn't put the heating on in May.

I wish I didn't have to, honestly but it's 12c and 97% humidity. The flat gets really damp and then mouldy 😬

NE here too. Heating came on itself this morning which it hasn’t done in weeks. Cat came into bed as he was cold.
its 17 degrees now, I can feel the heat behind all that cloud if only it could break through.

It very much depends where in the UK you live.

You are on the north east and are coastal. 12 degrees with high humidity and (I am guessing) potentially a sea breeze, however light, would feel pretty cool/cold. So some heating might be necessary.

I am in Essex, so in the south east and not coastal, although Essex is a big county and does have a coastline. It is currently 19 degrees here with very little wind at all. It feels lovely and most of us have windows open. No heating necessary.

It’s 17 here but sunny. We live in a very damp house so all of the windows are open today.

I am in London and no heating on but it was rather cold last night.

We've been on the beach all day, it's been so warm. Scotland.
