Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. Dd2's sat across from me eating her breakfast & I'm just about to take my tablets.

We're off to the coast for the day, hence being up earlier than usual. I'm hoping the weather improves a bit, it's cool and grey at the mo.

I feel like I have a slight hangover though thanks to needing to stay up to walk dd1's friend home after an evening out at another friend's house. Dd1's in the shit for that one - I asked her to leave at 8, with her friend, so that I was in bed at normal time. She argued until 10, then left, so they didn't get back til gone 11 on the last bus 🤬

Anyway, we're going for ice cream and chips 😋, on the train.

It'll be shower and bed for me when we get in. I finished Lucifer last night, so will start my new book tomorrow. The girls will be having early showers and early nights too 💤

I've had two coffees and a cuppa with toast. Today I'm going back to the garden centre for a couple of plants and compost. I was there yesterday and planted up everything but I have a couple of empty baskets and pots to fill. Later I'm meeting a friend to give her a birthday present. Then I'll visit mum in hospital. Cold trout fillet and salad for dinner later. Enjoy your day!

Morning. So far I am the only person awake. DH and two eldest DC stayed up late trying to see the lights last night. Youngest DC is still knackered from a school residential last week. I have an exam tomorrow so am heading up to uni to revise shortly. Not sure what DH is planning but I'm leaving him a food shopping list!

I've been reading the papers, sat in bed with a coffee, delaying the inevitable of getting up and tidying the remnants of yesterday's BBQ. No big plans, a day of food shopping, a trip to the park and pottering.

Morning all! I'm hiding in bed with a Cuppa and scrolling. Time to get up soon and blow up the paddling pool for the DCs and take DDog out for a walk before it gets too Hot. Relaxing day for us planned, DH is very excited to do a BBQ whilst DCs splash around. I bought all the food / drink on Friday so nothing to do but relax ☀️

It's day 4 of moving. We are yet to move anything in as where we have moved to is possibly the dirtiest living accommodation ever.
We didn't get a good look at it until we signed and thought the carpet was just in need of a clean, in fact it's dog hair so I've been using a rubber broom on it to rake it before vacuuming it up.
It's not all bad though, our new neighbour is lovely, we have been living with family for months so will have our own space back, and the business underneath we've taken on has huge potential. But christ if some people don't live like stig of the dump.

Got back from holiday yesterday so hoping to make a dent in my washing while the weather is good.
Housework and food shopping need doing and then later will start planning my next trip! Overall a relaxing day.

Good morning lucysmam & everyone. Very sleepy as up til gone 2 trying to see The Northern Lights. Will look again tonight. Might have a snooze in a bit. DH & I have had a cuppa & are still in bed. DD15 is still at her GF’s as she refused to come home yesterday. Need to do the dishwasher as per & might go to Tescos. Looking forward to bangers ( Lincolnshire sausages), double cream mash, carrots, broccoli & gravy with fried onions ( just for me) for tea.

Wish we lived close enough to the coast to pop down for the day.

We were out all day yesterday so today has to be dedicated to all the crap we didn't do yesterday (homework, ironing, batch cooking for the week). Shame as its a lovely, lovely day here.

I will let the older two pop in and out, I've started letting them go to the local community gardens across the road and they love to go over and explore and play on all the pathways - its been very good for their creative play. Means they get a bit of vitamin D, fresh air and exercise.

DP is working but he'll be home for the Arsenal game and I'll take the non football liking children (only 1 likes football) out for a scoot / bike ride.

Hi all. Going to my partners great grandparents for mince and dumplings 😋 can't wait. Will also enjoy some son with the kids. Hope everyone has a good day x

Good morning @lucysmam and everyone, it’s sunny here but clouds are drifting in.
So far I have washed the bedding and it’s on the line, made three Victoria sponges, moved various pots around on the patio, trimmed the borders of the lawns, had breakfast and I’m just enjoying a coffee before I make buttercream for the sponges, hang out more washing and start some weeding.
probably won’t be outside for long because it’s really warm and muggy.
I need to remake the bed, take one of the cakes to a neighbour and think about what to eat for lunch (probably chicken with new potatoes I think)
Perhaps I will finish the first of a pair of socks later.

Morning all! Lovely to hear of people enjoying the sunshine.
DH and I have just been for a swim. DD has made her way to church as she’s singing in the choir. DS discovered four episodes of Britain’s Got Talent so he’s not moved since 8!
Later it’ll be dog walks, a summerhouse clear out and homework. Hopefully an hour in the garden with a book.
Supper is a bbq. Bavette steak, Jersey royals, local asparagus. Eton mess for pudding. Glass of Pinot noir. I’m a greeder so I can’t wait.

I’ve come back to bed to drink my cappuccino - very tired still from working all day and night Friday - couldn’t stay up to watch Eurovision or Northern Lignts last night so DDs were cross with me as they were excited for both. Feeling very guilty now but I couldn’t keep my eyes open past 7pm!!
Plan for today - hang 2 loads washing out and put away 6 loads of laundry.
Clean kitchen and bathrooms.
Go to tip
Family walk after lunch to a NT around 30 mins away.
Promised to take DD2 to the nearby running track before dinner as she has a meet on Tuesday so wants me to time her.
Mexican style chicken and sweet potatoes for dinner.
Fall into bed!

Good morning everyone, it’s lovely and sunny again here today so we’ve got the patio door and all the windows open to let plenty fresh air in. I’ve got one load of washing hung on the line and another in the machine.

Everyone is up apart from dd16 and we’re all just chilling in the living room. I’ve no plans this morning but I’m taking the girls to the cinema this afternoon to watch IF. I’m also going to nip into DFS with a sample of my new wallpaper to see if the sofa I’ve seen online matches in real life. I know I’ll look like a weirdo but if I’m spending a lot of money I want to make sure it looks right!

I also need to buy dd9 some summer pjs as she’s too hot at night in her current ones so will go into Asda near the cinema while we’re out.

Tonight tea will either be burgers and wedges or the pasta bolognese we were meant to have yesterday - nobody wanted hot food last night so we all just had sandwiches for tea.

Then it’s the usual showers, homework, uniform ironing, etc ready for school/work/college tomorrow.

I was up until 5am taking photos of the Northern Lights then went to bed and woke up an hour ago. I've had a Magnum ice cream for breakfast and am now contemplating getting up and bumbling to B&M for some solar lights.

Getting some planting before the storm

Managed to get a bit sweaty so will need another shower before heading out. Garden Company centre doesn't open till 11am and I need chicken poo

Oh and the bloody cat has planted himself stop the neighbours brand new car

It’s not sunny in my part of the world, and it should be. However, looks like summer will start in earnest after Tuesday, so I am going to get all the housework done whilst it’s a bit cooler. OH is supposed to be doing the kitchen, then he’s off to feed our friend’s cat and put back in the lights he has fixed for them. Not really sure what I will do with the rest of my day. Chicken curry for tea.

I am waiting for my XH to come over so we can choose some photos with DD for our DS's funeral this week. He died 2 weeks ago after his cancer had spread and was only 13. It's a lovely sunny day here so we will finish DS's birthday cake from yesterday in the garden and then I will probably have an early night.

Good morning, we’ve had lots of late nights this past week so we’re all very tired. Its been really nice having a week with friends and family, but we’re all ready for home.

We’re heading back to Stockholm soon, everyone else is flying from there so we’re all going out for a final dinner tonight. Apart from that lots of laundry, picking up the dog and cat from a neighbour and getting everything ready for school tomorrow.

I'm in pjs, patio doors wide open, coffee and choc biscuits consumed.
DD11 is in her room on YouTube/snapchat and not moving. SATs start tomorrow so today is a nothing day for her. She wants to binge tech and that's fine.

I need to do the ironing, and I should probably wash the car. Ironing will get done. Car probably not.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your lovely boy. Currently going the cancer treatment myself. My thoughts are with you.
