Absolutely gutted here too! North wales. Did not know anything about it, gutted as got home from work and ds17 came down to chat. We could have been outside watching it! 😭

Derbyshire. Seen them before in Iceland but tonight was more impressive!

Look through your phone camera, preferably on night mode - you'll see them much more clearly than with just the naked eye.

Possibly visible Saturday night too and dependant on the conditions into Monday.

Look north in the sky. It's visible all over the UK.

West Wales, lifelong dream just achieved. It's so brilliant that the whole country has had such an amazing moment together (may have had a medicinal whisky to cope with the excitement).

Second the advice to look at them through your camera phone, picks up a lot more than you eye can see.

North west London even visible with loads of light pollution.

Have we completely missed it? We got some photos that were pink tinged but only in the last 20 mins as we didnt know about it.
