Can you cheer me up?

I'm having a shit week for several reasons. In the grand scheme of things it's nothing major (losing a loved one for example) but I just split up with my boyfriend, had the shittest birthday of my life this week, anxiety is through the roof, just heard I didn't get a work contract I was hoping for and in last 2 days have an awful cough/sore chest. Feeling bit shit and would appreciate some recommendations of things to make me laugh, funny memes you've seen lately or suggestions to help me get a grip....

Ah feck - that sounds rubbish. I dont know if I can cheer you up but I will wish you a happy birthday 🥳 🎉

I like to kill a few hours on threads in the Mumsnet Classics board when I’m I’ll or just can’t be arsed to do anything more productive.

Hope you get better soon.

Hi OP sorry to hear about your rubbish week. When I feel down I like to revisit my old favourite programmes and films. It’s nice to have something you know and have seen before for comfort. Your list will be different to mine, I tend to rewatch period dramas I love!!! My friend chooses Attenborough nature docs!

Watch something funny on Netflix. Something like Schits Creek if you haven't already seen it. The first episode was poor as far as I remember, but stick at it, it's very funny and heartwarming.
