Monkey nuts and duck food, logs from b and m for the fire, disposable bbq and marshmallows, swimming towels x10!

Tereseta · 09/05/2024 20:20

Dishwasher tablets, dish cloth, board games/cards

TheBucktoothedGirlFromLuxembourg · 09/05/2024 20:21

A sharp knife
Kitchen roll
Salt
A bag for life or two
Assuming you are taking some food then don't forget
Olive oil
Butter
Orange juice

Also pack a couple of plastic carrier bags. Perfect for wet swimming gear and also covering bike saddles in case of rain.

A few 20p coins for those cozzie dryers in the pool changing rooms.

A decent pan/wok if you’re cooking.

Loo roll / kitchen roll

A couple of dishwasher tablets as they only leave two.

Yes yes to peanuts for the squirrels.

DVDs for the kids (can you tell I’ve not been for ages!)

WittiestUsernameEver · 09/05/2024 20:23

Jeez, all this and paying ££££?

Comfysock · 09/05/2024 20:24

£100,000 English pounds.

Your own alcohol smuggled in.

Class A drugs

ColonelRhubarbBikini · 09/05/2024 20:28

The money you got for selling your kidney.

In seriousness though, a power strip. Never enough bloody plugs and if they are there they’re always in a stupid position.

WittiestUsernameEver · 09/05/2024 20:32

You're all making this sound like the worst kind of Self catering holiday ever...

Your own disposable bbq (they put a sign up saying only ones purchased on site to be used but how do they know?)

Jeannne92 · 09/05/2024 20:35

Baxterbailey · 09/05/2024 20:36

Bin liners (for excess booze waste)

AhBiscuits · 09/05/2024 21:00

We always forget salt, oil and ketchup.

ZoChan · 09/05/2024 21:02

An extra airing horse. There's only one so swimming towels don't dry quickly enough for the next days swimming. This was more in autumn winter - with the nice weather at the moment, you may not need to do this

RichPetunia · 09/05/2024 21:03

Bath mat and throws.

If you want to watch stuff from your iPad then you can use a HDMI cable to plug into the TV.
