how can humans be so vile?

I just don't get it. growing up in South Asia, I have had several monkeys (monkeys live in the city I was in and some of them adopted us over the years). curious beautiful (naughty) creatures capable of deep attachment.

personally I feel these people should be locked up and the keys thrown away.

Horrific to read.
I do question if some people who commit and enjoy watching such vile acts such as this, can ever be rehabilitated. I hope they get long sentences but sadly I doubt it.

Liliberated · 07/05/2024 18:33

Oh God that is absolutely disgusting. They are vile.

Hermittrismegistus · 07/05/2024 18:38

There is no hope for people that do such cruel things. A bullet to the head would be too kind.

Mishmashs · 07/05/2024 18:41

I knew before clicking on the thread this would be about this. Utterly awful, who thinks up such depraved things to do to a defenceless baby animal…

Kalevala · 07/05/2024 18:41

One of the Indonesian men got only 8 months for animal torture. In comparison, Schapelle Corby was sentenced to 20 years for smuggling cannabis.

Buggeroffandleavemealone · 07/05/2024 18:48

I honestly despair for the human race at times.

There can be no rehabilitation for people who think this kind of thing is acceptable. They offer nothing to society and I'd be quite happy for them to be lined up against a wall and shot.

I know that there will be posters who come on and talk about how a civilised society doesn't administer the death sentence to its citizens etc etc but in some cases I just think save us all a load of money and put them down.

Pigeonqueen · 07/05/2024 18:50

I have heard about this. It really makes me sick. I think it all starts with how we raise our children around animals. Feeding the ducks, watching the birds, getting excited and having empathy for nature. We must change society’s attitudes to animals. This sort of stuff is becoming a lot more common.

needsomesunshine65 · 07/05/2024 19:05

I found the but in the article that talks about how the UK woman also hates pregnant women and babies extra disturbing. All of it is beyond the pale but somehow that part stuck with me.

Depends what you are feeding the ducks. It's often doing them harm, not a kindness, but people keep doing it even when they know better.

I don't think they can. something in their brain is clearly broken. this woman also had a thing about violence against pregnant women....

in many cases people like this graduate to killing/torturing people

I'm with you. I think the death penalty is the only way in such extreme cases

I automatically linked the small monkeys to babies- and wondered if there was some sort of sexual motivation.

When was younger, I was all oh look at the life these people have led,I’m sure they could be dehabilitated etc. Not any more.

BubziOwl · 07/05/2024 19:35

I don't know what I was expecting to find when I opened that link, but it definitely wasn't that. What the fuck.

Absolutely vile. Those poor little things 💔

I wouldn't want one of these scumbags walking amongst the rest of us in society tbh. I am very much in favour of rehabilitation and forgiveness for all sorts of crimes, but vile stuff like this is just beyond anything a decent mind can comprehend.

BubziOwl · 07/05/2024 19:37

I agree with PP that those little monkeys are very clearly similar to human babies, and I can only assume that's what these vile people were thinking when they participated in this too.

Oh this one has well and truly ruined my night Sad

BigMandsTattooPortfolio · 07/05/2024 19:37

You have to be sociopathic to do something like this. Evil, depraved maniacs, these people.

IncompleteSenten · 07/05/2024 19:38

From reading these replies I already know there's no way I'm clicking on that link.

I think most of us have no idea just how depraved some members of our species truly are.

It’s wrong to kill animals

its also wrong to kill humans for any reason even as a punishment

The death penalty is never the answer. Taking these people ‘out of circulation’ is the only way to deal with it then they can’t harm any other life form

Well, proper duck feed - we live near many ducks and feeding them is a well documented past time where we are. I don’t want to turn this into duck feed gate. The point is by encouraging children to enjoy nature, look after animals and find the joy in caring for those more vulnerable than ourselves we can make small changes to the way so many in society seem to lack empathy in all aspects of their lives.

Roguebludger · 07/05/2024 19:40

So awful. She should not be allowed contact with the outside world again.

Maddie212 · 07/05/2024 19:42

There's 8 billion humans on earth to however many monkeys. On the balance of probability, demonic people like this will exist, so shocking as it is, it's also somewhat expected.

Sickeningly evil. I haven't read any details but monkeys and apes are beautiful, and it is a privilege to meet them. So evil.

Thepatioisready · 07/05/2024 19:46

I'm not sentimental as such about animals and don't like the anthropomorphism that seems increasingly prevalent.

However I can't even bear to click the link and read what they've done. It's the very worst of human nature. I agree they need locking away forever ( hopefully with a bit of prison justice so they know what it feels like to be hurt and scared). They are absolutely disgusting.
It worries me greatly that they were doing this for a paying audience. WTF is actually wrong with humans.

bakewellbride · 07/05/2024 19:50

Most farm animals in the uk are treated in the same way yet most people eat meat, eggs and dairy without a second thought.

Pigglysquat · 07/05/2024 19:52

Sick people with nothing better to do with their lives than do this. I wish they could be sentenced to the same torture they inflicted on the animals. Prison is too kind.

Yes, occasionally feeding appropriate food can be a good thing to do with children. Though, I've known many people continue to harm animals by feeding them the wrong foods, simply because they care more about the experience than the animal.

Read the room. Farm animals are not tortured to death by sadists and posted online for evil people to watch. Farm animals are not animals that are so close to humans genetically to the point where it's pretty much murder.
