I’m thinking of getting a small heart behind my ear any thoughts?

I think if you want it to go for it :D is there something worrying you about getting it?

Sorry, tacky AF. Does it have a particular meaning because those type always strikeme as tattoo for tattoos sake.

Don't care about what anyone else thinks, it's your body, your choice what you get and where you have it.

Make sure you ask clearly and they don’t do a small ear behind your heart by accident

I’m also deaf in that ear but got my Tragus pierced the heart was going to resemble me loving my ear even though I’m deaf in it

I like the idea but honestly it's up to you, if you want it - go for it. It's your body and your tattoo... Behind the ear is not easily seen / easily hidden too. I worried I would regret getting tattoos but I can honestly say I haven't yet! I love them, each time I see them it just feels right... The only thing to worry about is wanting more once you get the first one 🫣

If you want it, go for it! I think it's a lovely meaning too. I have many tattoos and some are dated to the 90s when I had them (dolphin anyone?) but I love them all, they are part of my story.

I have four tattoos and have another planned, so am in no way anti-tattoo, but because it is «trendy and cute» are the worst reasons to get a tattoo. «Trendy» changes quickly, as does «cute». If you get a tattoo, get one that means something to you, and that you know will still mean the same 30 years from now.

I don't think you permanently mark yourself for trendy and cute. Could you do a transfer instead?

Absolutely would not do a transfer …so why do ppl have tattoos I thought it was for there own reasons did you read mine being deaf ect

It sounds like you want to get it which is really the only the reason you need to get a tattoo? It doesn't need to be any deeper than that. If you want that tattoo and you will love that tattoo then go for it!

Surely getting a tattoo because it's trendy is the worst reason to get one 😆 trends aren't usually permanent...

Is it a mid-life crisis? I suddenly wanted piercings. But a tattoo would be a step too far for me.

Don't do anything for the sake of being "trendy" though.
Try it out with a Sharpie first.

I have that tattoo got it when I was about 14! I'm a lot older than that now lol. Never regretted any of my tattoos even the ones I had done under age.
