I’m thinking of getting a small heart behind my ear any thoughts?

Why? Because tattoos are mainstream.
So many people have them, it's not alternative, it's not different and it certainly isn't edgy. So the average person goes for it, like nail extensions or thick eyebrows or whatever. Who even notices tattoos nowadays?
A small heart behind the ear will be hardly noticeable anyway. Go for it.
