I want to treat myself to some but none of the stores by me are stocking them.

Is it too early?

Too early for peony flowers. Mine are only just up in the garden. Plants are waterlogged and/or leggy due to all the rain and lack of sunshine.

Screamingabdabz · 04/05/2024 13:30

Tesco had them the other day.

datcherygrateful · 04/05/2024 13:33

Cut peonies yes, not bulbs :)

Our small Sainsbury's local had some yesterday.

longdistanceclaraclara · 04/05/2024 14:24

My local florist stall has them in, noticed yesterday as I love them and wanted as my wedding bouquet but florist told me they'd collapse. Yes, still better, 20 years on!

Tinybigtanya · 04/05/2024 14:25

Waitrose today

Cheepcheepcheep · 04/05/2024 14:27

I got a Bloom and Wild delivery last week for my birthday which had peonies in. Lovely surprise, my birthday’s usually a shade too early for them!

BaronessEllarawrosaurus · 04/05/2024 14:30

Our local florist has been advertising them on facebook, I know she has a supply in.

longtompot · 04/05/2024 20:28

My local co op usually sells them. I've also bought them in Sainsbury's and Waitrose before, but not seen any yet. Maybe a bit early?

LostMySocks · 04/05/2024 20:31

Tesco had cut and potted garden peonies today. I bought a bunch.

I bought a bunch in M and S today - £10 for a bunch of 5 peonies, they are just starting to open up and are beautiful.

shoofly · 04/05/2024 21:14

Beautiful cut peonies in M&S this afternoon

Jeezitneverends · 04/05/2024 21:15

My local,Sainsburys had them today £6 a bunch

quizzys · 04/05/2024 21:20

I'm not ashamed to say that I got two big bunches in the Range. They are now in my best vase and are just gorgeous. Not real of course but hard to tell unless on top of them. Got them in the Bridal flower section. Pink and white.

I'm obviously a person with no taste like Vera Duckworth, but I have a huge garden full of flowers and roses that I will cut myself when they come into bloom.

Ours are in bud and will flower soon. It’s grown a lot since last year. Trouble is,is the blooms don’t last long but they do look gorgeous!

yikesanotherbooboo · 04/05/2024 21:26

Our Waitrose had them today.

LaurieFairyCake · 04/05/2024 22:26

There were only 3 heads this year. And the last of the petals fell off Friday
