Where can I find Peonies?

I want to treat myself to some but none of the stores by me are stocking them.

Is it too early?

I'v popped in to M and S and Waitrose, none in yet

I bought ten in my local market last week. The five cream ones opened beautifully, the pink ones just refuse to. I’ve cut them down and they’re still just refusing. I’m going to wait a couple of weeks before buying again, I think.

i remember having this last year with bunches from both Waitrose and M&S (when five stems were £10, they do come down to about £6) and being really cross.

I love them though. The ones in my garden are still tight buds (south east).

Update!
I have found them in waitrose. Got a bunch Bank holiday Monday and they have yet to blossom- super stubborn. Anyone else have this issue?
