I don't find brown eyes boring.
To me they're beautiful — the more solid brown eye colours run from an almost glittering, glowing dark amber, through rich, warm, inviting, liquid mid-browns, to an intense, striking, soulful, so-dark-it's-almost-black. Then there's all the brown eyes that melt into a deep black outer ring that outlines and emphasises the beauty of the iris, the ones have intricate patterns of different shades of brown, the apparently brown eyes that up close resolve into a kaleidoscope of browns and ambers and dark greens, the ones that reveal different shades depending on how relaxed or constricted the pupils are… I love brown eyes.
Personally, I find extremely dark brown eyes particularly attractive. I wonder if it's maybe partly because it almost looks like the pupils are dilated, the way they supposedly do when the owner of the eyes in question is attracted to someone — and bigger pupils are a sign of youth too,I think. But it might just be personal taste, or the contrast from my own blue/grey/green in-betweeny eyes.
I suppose if you were used to brown eyes being the norm among people close to you and most people around you had very similar shades of eye colour, you might reasonably wish you had something that stood out as different, though. I suppose I think of my nothing-in-particular eyes as a bit dull, but I guess if hardly anyone around me had what I think of as my nondescript in-betweeny blue/green/grey eye colour, I might really like it
I do see lots of other women with eyes in that middling light colour range whose eyes I think are gorgeous, though.
