Mine are interesting. There blue-green and have been since I was 1. I’m 63 now. Most people think there green until they get up close. I get a compliment once a week on my eye colour. Some people put blue on my ID others put Green.

Clear, warm, dark brown and yes I really like them.

Femalefootyfan · 26/04/2024 03:18

Mine are blue but one is light blue and one is a darker blue, I love my eyes and think they are my best feature in an otherwise non descript face

NoTeaNoShade · 26/04/2024 08:30

I've got green eyes, red hair and pale skin. I occasionally attract attention when I'm abroad, but I like my colouring 🙂. Can't wear beige or taupe mind without looking a bit dead 😂

BOOTS52PollyPrissyPants · 26/04/2024 16:31

I meant to say do get complimented on my colouring as have black hair, porcelain skin and green eyes. But would love blue eyes as just think they are a lovely colour. Brown/hazel eyes also lovely the way they catch the light with the orangey tones also.

I have brown eyes, fairly olive skin and blonde hair, white blonde when I was a child, I think I looked like a little alien but have grown to like my unusual colouring now, my daughter has the same, my son is hazel eyed and blond.

I think contrast like yours is the most attractive. Blond hair and brown eyes. Black hair and green eyes.

Expected combinations are just regular. Blonde blue eyes. Black brown eyes etc. not striking the way unexpected combos are.

JusWunderin · 26/04/2024 19:04

I have central heterochromia, the inner part of my eye is brown and the inner is green.

I used to be so upset that my eyes weren’t blue, I thought blue eyes were the pinnacle of beauty but I’ve learn to love my eye colour and I think it suits me.

FrannieGallops · 26/04/2024 19:04

Mine are the most boring of all the eye colours - dark brown.

My best friend has the most stunning eyes I’ve ever seen - they are pale green. So striking.

BigMandsTattooPortfolio · 26/04/2024 19:05

Greeny blue and they’re big.

BigMandsTattooPortfolio · 26/04/2024 19:06

But I think all eyes are beautiful.

Blackcats7 · 26/04/2024 19:09

Another one with central heterochromia, green eyes with hazel ring.
I like the colour just wish I didn’t have myopia in one eye and now floaters in both.

Green. My best feature.

I have red hair and freckled skin. It’s nice to have eyes that take the focus off my freckles.

Me too, red hair & green eyes, had people ask in the supermarket if I am wearing contacts- but I would love freckles, I don’t have any at all 😩

Em3978 · 26/04/2024 19:21

Deep olive green! I love them!

Franticbutterfly · 26/04/2024 22:40

Pale blue. Used to like them but I don't seem to have the brightness in them that they used to. I put it down to a hard life!

QuizzlyBears · 27/04/2024 00:14

Mine are bright blue - people comment on them a lot, I’m asked more than you’d think if they’re coloured contacts, and I’ve been told more than once they make it hard to keep eye contact with me. They’re also super sensitive to light - lack of melanin perhaps?! But I love them. I’ve got back hair so they look extra bright because of that I think.

FindingMeno · 27/04/2024 09:50

I'd never heard of central heterochromia, but I definitely have that.

HereComesEverybody · 27/04/2024 11:13

Mine are green with an orange ring around the pupil. I love them

Oh gosh no. Brown eyes can be stunning. They radiate warmth and intelligence in a way lighter colours don't. They are also the most sexy and smouldering eye colour.

Stayeduptoolateagain · 28/04/2024 15:04

I actually don't know what colour to say my eyes are. They are green but are full of brown flecks. Does that make them hazel?

frilip · 28/04/2024 16:02

Brown, boring brown. I always wanted blue eyes. But I'm ethnically from somewhere where everyone has brown eyes, so it was never going to happen. I've never looked into coloured contacts as I need them for short sight, but I have daily disposables which would probably be expensive as coloured contacts.

I don't find brown eyes boring.

To me they're beautiful — the more solid brown eye colours run from an almost glittering, glowing dark amber, through rich, warm, inviting, liquid mid-browns, to an intense, striking, soulful, so-dark-it's-almost-black. Then there's all the brown eyes that melt into a deep black outer ring that outlines and emphasises the beauty of the iris, the ones have intricate patterns of different shades of brown, the apparently brown eyes that up close resolve into a kaleidoscope of browns and ambers and dark greens, the ones that reveal different shades depending on how relaxed or constricted the pupils are… I love brown eyes.

Personally, I find extremely dark brown eyes particularly attractive. I wonder if it's maybe partly because it almost looks like the pupils are dilated, the way they supposedly do when the owner of the eyes in question is attracted to someone — and bigger pupils are a sign of youth too,I think. But it might just be personal taste, or the contrast from my own blue/grey/green in-betweeny eyes.

I suppose if you were used to brown eyes being the norm among people close to you and most people around you had very similar shades of eye colour, you might reasonably wish you had something that stood out as different, though. I suppose I think of my nothing-in-particular eyes as a bit dull, but I guess if hardly anyone around me had what I think of as my nondescript in-betweeny blue/green/grey eye colour, I might really like it Grin I do see lots of other women with eyes in that middling light colour range whose eyes I think are gorgeous, though.

TheCoffeeNebula · 28/04/2024 17:30

Come to think of it, I also really like very green eyes, and the greyest of grey eyes.

I think maybe it's just my own eye colour I don't find particularly interesting, presumably because I see it up close in the mirror every day 🤣

scarletbegoniass · 25/04/2024 00:49

Brown. I’ve always favoured brown eyes (ego? I also only like brown hair, as a brunette…) so I guess I like, but I don’t think of it much.

Me too

FrannieGallops · 28/04/2024 17:36

My brown eyes are definitely boring. I had Irish parents and my mum used to say I was ‘black Irish’ as I have very dark hair and eyes. She had a more traditional Irish look, black hair and light blue eyes and my dad had hazel eyes and black hair. I’d have liked to have got the blue eyed gene!

I gave one child with my dark eyes and one with his dad’s green eyes.

Clear green, but fairly dark/ khaki colour. Really like them.
Dc1 has Hazel eyes, but I used to when a child so hope they turn green
Dc2 very dark brown, almost black, and beautiful.
Think we all suit our colouring.

The idea of surgery to change colour is vanity supreme.
