What’s your annual leave entitlement and does it feel enough?

I get 26 days plus bank holidays. Lots of my colleagues have bought extra leave but I’m not sure in the point of it, as surely it’s technically just unpaid leave with the cost spread across the year.

How much do you get?

40 days inclusive of bank holidays. My work closes down for the whole Christmas/NY period which usually means using 4 or 5 days for that. So I have 7 weeks to play with. It's generous but I would very happily have more!

5 weeks. I am obliged to take it all at once each year, so it really doesn't feel like enough.

Why do you have to take it all at once, if you don't mind my asking? @Avonia That's a real bummer.

20 days full time equivalent plus bank hols. No it's not enough - also scrapped the extra day per year for long service before I benefitted from it. We can buy up to a week extra but I can't afford to lose a week's pay.

29 days plus bank holidays. I'm looking at taking parental leave (unpaid) this year too for the first time, probably just for a week although you're entitled to up to 4 weeks a year.

2.5 days per 140h worked, so it v roughly works out about 26 days a year plus Bank hols. More I work, more time I get off - last year I had 32 days

Technically is enough but doesn’t mean I don’t want more 😂

25 days plus bh. Plenty for me.

Been sent a job with 24 days holiday I think that is low....you can gain an extra 1 day after 5 years...seems mean....
