Same! Drives DH mad - I notice everything without actually paying attention to anything.

LauderSyme · 21/04/2024 18:25

It took me years to resist saying
"A digger!"
"A tractor!"
"A combine harvester!"
once ds's toddler years were behind him.

I still say "A fire engine!" though, even if only to myself. And "A crane!" 😁

scalt · 21/04/2024 18:25

Trains visible from the road.

MyBeloved · 21/04/2024 18:26

NeverDropYourMooncup · 21/04/2024 18:29

Anything with more (or fewer) legs than humans, feathers, scales, fur, pelt...

DP comes over/downstairs with a ridiculously indulgent smile on his face everytime he hears 'Look what I've found! Come and see this!'.

KingscoteStaff · 21/04/2024 18:30

Yellow car

Icantremembermyusername · 21/04/2024 18:31

If it's any consolation, I have one friend (God love her) who says she loves going out with me because it's like going out with an alien who's discovering this planet for the first time.

LauderSyme · 21/04/2024 18:31

A full moon.

Mediumred · 21/04/2024 18:32

A slightly unusual bird, this week I have seen a pied wagtail and a blackcap. I live in London so don’t often see anything v out of the ordinary. Unfortunately both times I was only with the dog and she didn’t give a shit.

MeadStMary · 21/04/2024 18:33

Squirrel
Ugly car
Rainbow
Horse
An especially nice item of clothing ("ooh I love that woman's dress" etc)
