I love this thread, it’s so wholesome!

I drove through the Brynglas tunnels yesterday and a little voice in my head said: “Lights Sammy lights!” When we lived in England and used to come to Wales to visit my Nanas, I knew we were almost there when we drove through the westbound tunnel and used to hold my soft toy up to the window to look at the tunnel lights. Poor old Sammy (that I used to call a border collie but everyone else said was a panda) went to the big recycling bin in the sky many years back on account of being more stitches than stuffing, but it made me well up a bit to think of it!

‘Dark clouds over there’ my husband says ‘it’s looking a bit dark over Bill’s mothers’ 🤣

I think I've just realised quite how much I do this!

Honeysuckle in wild
Rain from a distance (we live on a hill and love watching the town on the other side of the valley disappear)

Peasants (which generally does mean pheasants)
