We’re having Indian ready meals tonight as DH working late but I welcome any ideas. Do tend to stick to the same few meals, even though I have loads of recipes torn out from magazines & some cookery books. I have a slow cooker.

I had dinner at lunchtime today (seafood chowder) so I'm having a coffee and maybe a scone for tea.

SnarkMode · 15/04/2024 19:18

Broccoli, spinach and chicken curry - made with one of the Spice Tailor pouches.

Made enough for tomorrow as well as I'm working late.

Penguinsa · 15/04/2024 19:19

We had paella with chicken, mussels, chorizo.

snorlax99 · 15/04/2024 19:19

Ooh I love these threads. I got one of my favourite recipes from a thread like this. Sausage pasta bake for us tonight 😋

Tomato risotto, my "cba to cook" go-to 😅

Usernamewassavedsuccessfully · 15/04/2024 19:23

Was due to be prawn salad but am freezing so didn't fancy it. Ate the prawns on their own rather than crisps as was hungry when I got in but now don't really want anything. So cup of tea and will be hungry just when it's bedtime 🙄

Greywitch2 · 15/04/2024 19:24

Mexican pulled chicken and sweet potato wedges with home made coleslaw.

mondaytosunday · 15/04/2024 19:24

Chicken Kiev, rosemary potatoes (parmentier I think they are called) and roasted carrots, steamed broccoli and green beans. I have even worked out the calories: 766.

Nellieinthebarn · 15/04/2024 19:24

Peppers stuffed with cheese and garlicky mushrooms, with vegetable rice and salad. It was very nice, it was just something I made up to use up the veg in the fridge.

JumpstartMondays · 15/04/2024 19:25

Tinned tomato soup chicken curry. Lazy.

purplecorkheart · 15/04/2024 19:25

mac and cheese with lots or paramasan and pancetta and salad. All bits that needed to be used up. Really tasty and enough for two work lunches tomorrow.

UsernameTaken76 · 15/04/2024 19:25

Goats cheese & chorizo omelette with a green salad & balsamic dressing. Slice of buttered sourdough on the side.

A small bowl of yogurt, chopped strawberries and a teaspoon of sticky toffee sauce post dog walk.

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 15/04/2024 19:26

I too, have a slow cooker.

She's a bit of a nuisance really but to be fair, Mum does her best and I can always eat a few bags of crisps while waiting to see if she can ever get the oven lit (it's one of those gas ones, where it clicks for ages without actually lighting the gas, you know).

We are having this. First time I made it I was a bit worried about the 3tbsp of paprika, but it was lovely, hence giving it a second time out.
