Hi. Thinking about moving to Innerleithen . Love the countryside. Any good walk around the town

What's making you choose there out of interest?

You'll probably get more answers on the Scotsnet board. There's a current thread on there about moving to Borders/D&G that has mentioned Innerleithen a couple of times.

Innerleithen has a lovely community for such a small place, there are loads of good walks, and the Southern Upland Way goes through at Traquair. But it is very small, where are you moving from?

Love Innerleithen. We've stayed there twice on holiday or visit there when we're staying in Edinburgh.

It's tiny, but we love the bookshop and the ice cream place.

Search Scottish Borders walking and find the council web site - look for the town you are interested in and there will be a pdf leaflet with lots of walks around the town and the immediate area
