Has anyone found earplugs that actually block out snoring?

My DP snores (as do I occasionally). We often end up in different rooms, but we have a campervan and go away a lot. We can’t sleep separately then! The lack of sleep is beginning to affect the joy of the weekend away!

I currently have foam earplugs that say they block up to 37db. DP goes to sleep and starts snoring within seconds, and I can still hear it through these ear plugs.

I know all the other things like weight, etc. but right now I need some ear plugs if they exist!

I like the Loop ones. Doesn't drown it out completely but muffles it enough so that I can get to sleep.

I use Honeywell Laser Lite foam earplugs, 35db reduction. Wouldn't use anything else, my partner gets them for free onsite (he's a tradie) but they're cheap enough on Amazon.

Glad you've posted this as I was going to try loop ones but after reading the comments on here I'll give them a miss

I use Loops. Absolute game changer! I'm a side sleeper too and they don't impact on my sleep. For the first few weeks I did have a little ear pain the following morning but I've gotten used to them.

Was really hoping for some magic solution here! I've tried happy ears which were 100% useless and best so far is foam plus Bluetooth headband playing white noise. I'd love to find something that gives the same effect as being underwater!

I used Howard leight max. Wear them when camping also and blocks out everything.

i use Bollsen and they are really good - muffle the noise enough to sleep. I do have to go to sleep first or it’s much harder to drop off.

I also use a Bluetooth headphone eye mask with sea sounds sometimes instead.

Howard Leight soft ear plugs work the best for me. But you can never fully block it out. You've got to get it just right in the ear though so it expands properly. A pillow barrier and another over the exposed ear if a front/side sleeper. I have a noose machine but it just disturbs everyone else if sharing a family room in a hotel!

I play white noise through my Alexa to block out husbands snoring. Ear plugs didn’t work well enough for me

I used to sleep in my wired earphones with my Ipod on full blast to block out late dp's drunken snoring.

I sometimes wear ear defenders in bed. Can't hear a thing. Yes, they're quite clunky but you get used to them. I always have the best nights sleep when I wear them.

Wax ones that mould into your ear. I discovered them as a staff nurse when working nights.

DP uses them to drown out MY snoring……

I have a snoozeband. I listen to podcasts or music and I can't hear him.

I use loop quiet and they block out light snoring and DH's white noise. Ex husband had sleep apnoea and the only earplugs that worked for his horrendous snoring were these:

Loop didn't work for me at all. The wax ones are good but messy..

I now use Happy Ears, they look a bit strange and I was sceptical but they are very good. I have small ears and the HE come in various sizes.

Loop quiet saved my sanity. They don't block out all sound. I still hear my alarm and my squeaky bedroom door though them but the snoring is so muffled that it doesn't keep me awake. I also fall asleep as soon as I put the loops in which I think is because my brain now associates them with sleep time.

I think it's important to know that they do not block all sound but I sleep better knowing that I could still hear the smoke alarm if it went off while I was asleep.

Macks silicon ones worked brilliantly for me, with DH’s snoring.
