Yes, I am eternally grateful for everything I have and I know some of my worries are first world problems. [I do also have the universal concerns about health, mental health, relationships, money, cost of living that affect most average people the world over too of course].

So mine is that I just cannot stand Gary Davies for one nano-second and yet everytime I turn on Radio 2 there he seems to be! How can I continue to listen to R2 when he fills in for seemingly every single staff absence? He's on that channel more often than anyone else! It's like the Gary Davies channel! FFS!

I've run out of lurpak

ShaunaSadeki · 13/04/2024 21:47

The volume control on my phone isn’t nuanced enough, when I listen to podcasts or meditations to go to sleep they are either slightly too loud or slightly too quiet, there is a volume ‘notch’ missing right where I need it to be

I'm so glad someone else said this. I have this exact problem and it drives me mad.

I dropped my iPhone 15 Pro Max and the screen cracked!!!

BeyondMyWits · 13/04/2024 21:55

I have a hangnail and it hurts because I pulled it, and I'm getting NO sympathy

none!

OOlivePenderghast · 13/04/2024 21:57

I got moisturiser in my eyes and now they won’t stop watering.

Icanflyhigh · 13/04/2024 21:57

The plughole in my bath is in the wrong place and if I move in the bath, my fat ass unlocks the plug and its difficult to lock it again.

IsleOfPenguinBollards · 13/04/2024 21:58

Ooh Gary Davies! Ooh Gary Davies! Ooh Gary Davies on your ray-dee-oh!

I have an awful cold that’s no better after two weeks, but because it’s “just a cold” no one has any sympathy!

menopausalmare · 13/04/2024 21:58

I need to check my hostas for slugs and snails but it's dark and chilly outside and I'm comfy on the sofa

ShiftySquirrel · 13/04/2024 22:00

I stripped the bed this morning to wash the sheets...
And haven't put any back on yet.

Hoglet70 · 13/04/2024 22:00

My wine glass is empty but its a long walk to the fridge.

It is so annoying!

Shizzlestix · 13/04/2024 22:01

Stuff I’ve put on eBay/Vinted isn’t selling. I’ve sent bag after bag to charity, I wouldn’t mind a few quid for really nice stuff! I’ve had to buy an entire new wardrobe after weightloss.

Also, I really want to go to the family Bank holiday weekend, but it’s a minimum 5 hour drive and I just don’t want to do that there and back in 3 days. 😭

Ridiculous24 · 13/04/2024 22:02

@ShiftySquirrel I was coming on to say the same! Every. Time.

SingingWaffleDoggy · 13/04/2024 22:03

My kids have more toys than we have room for so my house is forever untidy

CadyEastman · 13/04/2024 22:04

This morning I couldn't find the cherry ham and had to have apricot. I do like apricot jam but today I wanted cherry.

CrispsnDips · 13/04/2024 22:05

Gary Davies is good - it’s Scott Mills I can’t stand!

Cronchy · 13/04/2024 22:05

The candle I’ve got on smells a bit too strong. It’s lovely, but a bit too strong. If I blow it out now it’ll tunnel so I just need to live with it.

Solongtoshort · 13/04/2024 22:05

That bloody song This ain’t Texas is in everywhere, l feel like if l walk past anyone with a phone it pings on. It’s on the radio in the car, on my daughters tablet it was even on in Home bargains today, if l didn’t want to spend £20 on things l didn’t need l would of walked out.

The M&S spreadable butter is not very spreadable.

I agree, he takes me right back to my teens and his Radio1 days in the 80s

My corn hurts

There is too much Beyoncé in the world generally - she's so bland!

It's soooo nice though, because it's all butter and no oil. Means I have to have lumps of it in my sandwich, which isn't too much of a hardship
