Yes, I am eternally grateful for everything I have and I know some of my worries are first world problems. [I do also have the universal concerns about health, mental health, relationships, money, cost of living that affect most average people the world over too of course].

So mine is that I just cannot stand Gary Davies for one nano-second and yet everytime I turn on Radio 2 there he seems to be! How can I continue to listen to R2 when he fills in for seemingly every single staff absence? He's on that channel more often than anyone else! It's like the Gary Davies channel! FFS!

My wine glass is empty but its a long walk to the fridge.

rookie mistake. You need to get a wine fridge to put next to your chair/settee. Or drink a nice bottle glass of merlot

HesterPrincess · 13/04/2024 22:12

Oh god, that Beyonce song is everywhere and it's AWFUL beyond words.

Cowboy Carter needs to fucking ride off into the sunset.

Bluescissorsbluepen · 13/04/2024 22:13

We’re moving house in 2 weeks and I haven’t started to pack. It’s not an impossible task and I’m really looking forward to the new house. But I can’t be bothered to start

I set the fancy tack room alarm off because I am a numpty. New smoke canister is £250. Expensive momentarily lapse of brain cells.

I thought it was just me!!! I loved him back in the 80s but he makes me cringe now! Especially when he says 'De ja woooooo!!!' 😤

I’ve got a really sore bit on the end of my tongue. I can’t move, eat or drink without it hurting. It really stings and I’ve had enough.

CurlsnSunshinetime4tea · 13/04/2024 23:36

it's a warm sunny day, and i've got a rare urge to garden.
my neighbor isn't back yet from a mini holiday and i want one of her plants (that she said i could have two years ago, it's called a maltese cross).

Piscesmumma1978 · 13/04/2024 23:41

Our grass seed will not grow. It’s a large area so forking it will take ages.

We have very happy pigeons though 😂

LauderSyme · 13/04/2024 23:53

I need to cut my grass but tomorrow is the only day I have free from work and I have agreed to go and cut my mum's grass instead.

I need to replace two ceiling spotlights in the kitchen but it means getting out my small step ladder and climbing up to fiddle about up there.

Yamadori · 13/04/2024 23:56

I need to grapple with the M25 tomorrow if I decide to go to the event I'm planning to visit.

Not sure whether I really want to go or not...

Crapuscular · 14/04/2024 00:03

Back in the day, I was going to marry Gary!

Back to reality.. I recently bought ( after many years, a tin of Heinz Ravioli. It tasted nothing like I remembered ( probably at the time I was going to marry Gary!)

abracadabra1980 · 14/04/2024 00:19

My gardener is on extended leave and I need a new one.

Mygardenisaswamp · 13/04/2024 21:44

I've run out of lurpak

OMG same 😂

ShiftySquirrel · 13/04/2024 22:00

I stripped the bed this morning to wash the sheets...
And haven't put any back on yet.

Oh no, that's awful. On a Saturday too

TowerStork · 14/04/2024 00:23

I can't find a shoe rack narrow enough to fit neatly by the back door

Itsokish · 14/04/2024 00:24

Just got home from work and only 11% wine in the fridge….hoping husband would get something more substantial 😂

Bottle rather than glass..just be honest!

DNLove · 14/04/2024 00:28

It's not cold enough to put the heating on but I've to put a blanket over my legs while watching TV now. If I put heating on it'll be too warm to sleep over night.

BresciaBike · 14/04/2024 00:30

I want a Christmas tree with beautiful exacting decorations. I do not have any of that. And it's April.

BresciaBike · 14/04/2024 00:30

I also want a rustic (aka rusty) frog.

bluebeardswife7 · 14/04/2024 00:48

I am a bit worried about @sharonhernandez, I am not sure they can recover their bitcoin purchase

Soonenough · 14/04/2024 00:48

People on MN are being mean to me on another thread. Waaa😂

bluebeardswife7 · 14/04/2024 00:51

Although Thomasleo might be able to help them.
