If you could be an animal what one would you be?

I know cat seems quite nice and dog, well looked after fed every day.

But I think I'd like to be a rat

Or a seagull

I like the idea of scavenging for food and hanging out in a group

One of my cats. Or one of those capybaras that lives in hot springs in Japan and gets to wallow in warm water surrounded by oranges.

I think I'd make a good hippo although they do poo in the bath and I'm not sure I'm up for that.

A much loved family Labrador 🥰 (basically my dog) who never has to worry about anything unless dinner is 5 minutes late!

I think I'd quite like to be a parrot. One of those who stays silent for years and then says inappropriate things when the vicar comes for tea😂

My JRT.Fresh chicken everyday Sleeps in my bed and gets up about 10am !

I'd like to be a tiger, they look very majestic and I love indian food and there's loads of it wandering about round there (I would, of course, spit out the dohti, ugh!).

A sloth. Or something that hibernates at least.

Grizzly bear perhaps. Then I could rip people's faces off.

A bird so I could fly off and just be bird. But knowing my luck id be a mum bird and looking after other baby birds 🫠

A pampered cat like mine. All she does is eat and sleep and yell at people if either are denied her.

She occasionally has the zoomies when the mood takes her which looks quite fun too.

I'd love to be a camel, but a wild one living in Australia.
They were transported from Africa a long time ago. And now they live predator-free (apart from some occasional human culling, so maybe I'll be one in an area where I'm not competition to castle farmers livestock).
But they also don't suffer the illnesses that have since developed in the population of origin, in fact wealthy Arabs now import Australian camels as they are better and healthier than those they can get locally.
Meanwhile as an animal they are herbivores who live socially, are tall and strong and have fabulous eyelashes.

Or a panda in captivity with entire squads of people flying male pandas to me to see whether I might deign to have sex with one of them, and my baby pandas being the only cheery bit on the news.

Though I need to have a human slave owner who will let me roam of I want to, otherwise if I don't like them I can't find another.

Definitely a bird, a seagull might be fun.

My dog has a good life too, although he’s a rescue so he had a rough time at one point.

A bird. I could fly away from danger if possible.I would have more choices in where I wanted to live. Seeing everything from above. I would be a bigger bird though, as the little ones get picked on more, although I do love small songbirds, I wouldn’t want to be one.

A Golden Eagle. Apex predator, great eyesight (I have glasses) and beautiful. I'd spend all day soaring among majestic peaks in the Highlands. Sounds great.
