Fibre to premises rather than 4G broadband.

Buses where I live.
However In my nearest town I would actually like a council.
They all voted themselves to continue to work from home. Nobody even answers the phone, the whole town is a shit heap, all outside rural areas are a forgotten mess.
Nothing has been done for years
Untouchable, unaccountable useless fuckwits.

A café.
A bakery.
An NHS dentist.

We have four hairdressers and two tanning places in our village. I can only assume at least a couple of them are a front for money laundering because as a bunch of residents, we don’t look good enough to be keeping them all in business.

A pub which isn't a gastro pub in stumbling home distance

A beach 😂. But if we’re talking about things that can actually happen, smooth roads without potholes the size of Wookey hole would be great. I’d love to see what the council have spent our council tax on because it isn’t tarmac.

I’m in a city so we have a lot of the things people have mentioned but also lack some of the things DM has in her small town.

In an ideal world I would have:
NHS dentist
Local Soft play
Role play centre
Pub with play area in the garden
Decent swimming pool with flumes
Small secular secondary school suitable for Sen kids where they can wear comfortable clothes
Late night pharmacy

Reading the wish lists makes me realise how lucky I am. I even have a Target (though it's small and pretty crappy).

A coastline, and a few mountains. I come from Dublin which is on the coast, around a bay, with a half ring of small friendly mountains around it on the land side.

Now I live in London, which is awesome, but it could really use a nice bay to look over and some decent hills in the background.

I'm from Dublin too, and I miss the friendly mountains, and the beaches. But what I have here is pretty darn good.

There's not much where I live and I could write a long list of things that would make my life a lot more convenient but then it occurs to me that if we had that stuff it would make it a more attractive place for other people to live. Given the best thing about living here is the lack of other people that would be a bit counterproductive!
But I would like a post office within reasonable distance. We used to have a little one about 3 miles away but the couple who ran it retired and nobody has taken it on unfortunately.

York needs a proper bus station. We have a decent train station but no proper bus station. Just a collection of bus stops.
