Good will hunting.
Bloody amazing film. Robin Williams is awesome. So good and way better than he is doing comedy roles!

I have to disagree with you @WhyArePiratesCalledPiratessss Smile

RW is (was) brilliant as a serious actor for sure - but was good in 'funny' roles too IMO. Left us far too soon, and is very much missed by soooo many. He was amazing!

One Hour Photo was a really good film. If you have never seen that, try to source it from somewhere and watch it! You can get it on DVD for £1.99 on ebay.

He was an excellent actor.

I feel like this about Ricky Gervais too. I’m not sure that Gervais has done any straight roles, but he has had some serious scenes in his comedy shows and I am always impressed by how natural he is. One of the scenes with the Dad in Afterlife made me cry. And the scene in Extras where Andy is in the Big Brother house and goes into a monologue about fame and how ridiculous it all is- I found that genuinely incredibly moving.

Ricky Gervais played a grumpy dentist who woke up with the ability to see ghosts after he was knocked out for a colonoscopy in “Ghost Town.”
I don’t think it did very well, but I liked it.
