Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my cuppa, in my kitchen spot, before I head up for a shower and to get ready for my friend's little girl's christening. The window's open for some fresh air & the only noise is the fridge humming away to itself. Lovely 😊

There are loads of pots to wash & downstairs could do with a quick tidy round once I'm showered. Other than that, I don't think I'll be doing much housework today. I need to write in my card too but not a clue what to write 🤷‍♀️

Dd1 will likely carry on her Lucifer marathon, and I think dd2 will carry on with 911. They're both racing through them 🤣

Later on, it's bangers and mash for tea 😋 Then I'll carry on Lucifer at my own pace, order a cat tree for the kittens, and try for a better night's sleep 🙄

I just had a massive bowl of porridge that included a whole banana and a whole apple, fresh blueberries, currants and a heaped spoon of a ground seed and nut mix, and I'm finishing my coffee. Fortifying myself for a longer than usual stint at the gym! Later I'll give myself a hair cut. It's a beautiful sunny day here today and it's nice to be able to open the windows to air the house.

Morning lucysmam & everyone. In bed but up soon for a shower/hairwash. Had a cuppa & will make another when I get downstairs. Working at 12 so clock watching. The dishwasher needs unloading & I will see if there’s enough in the washing machine to put it on. Might scrub some new potatoes so I won’t have to do them when I get home. We’re having them for tea with pan fried salmon tails & broccoli. DH will clean the rabbits out & maybe go for a bike ride. DD15 has zero plans. At least for now she’s not talking & laughing incredibly loudly on the phone to her GF.

Have a lovely day. I'm under one cat while glaring at the others to stop at "play fighting". Just finishing my second cup of tea then I'll have to go and wake up DD as she's going to a friend's this morning. Nothing huge planned...a lot of the day will be spent procrastinating about not going for a run 🤣

I've filled the car up with petrol, bought a loaf of bread, and for the last half hour I have been drinking coffee and discussing JK Rowling with DH. He happened to read something about her in the paper and had no idea what it was all about, so asked me and I had to explain in words of one syllable. I think I got through. 😂

We're having a roast later and I might get on with some housework at some point.

just on my second cup of tea. Chatting with DH about our plans for the garden. Need to load the dishwasher and sort something to eat for dinner tonight. Will walk the dogs again later if it doesn’t pour down with rain. Kids in far flung places so no input from me required on that score.

Toasted, buttered hot cross buns in bed where I intend to stay all morning with MN, my books, newspaper and DH.
Been a difficult week.

Not a lot planned , few diy type jobs like assembling new perfect fit blind to replace one the dog damaged. We are desperate to get some work done on our allotment but yet again weather is not our friend. I’ve got a load of wooden spoons coming today and I’m going to draw on them pics of various fruit and veggies to use as plot markers

Teens are both in bed, DH is away.

I’ve been loafing about since 7.30am, drinking coffee, half watching the news, on MN. Did a quick Duolingo lesson.

Just about to go to yoga. Having a coffee with friends this afternoon. No other plans. Taking it nice and easy.

Coffee ( tons, was out last night and had a few beers) and a banana and then off to work 11 until 6pm.
Car won't start so I bought a charger yesterday. Haven't had a second to test it or drive the car afterwards. Will be walking to work so grateful for the sun.

Morning. Not much tbh. I think I’ll let the kids chill as busy week for them next week (ds got a 3 day 9-5 cricket camp and dd got a sailing qualification to do plus exam revision). I’ll try to make myself go for a run- just figuring out a route to avoid too much of a headwind 🤣DH is out learning to drive a rib. Thai chicken and parmentier potatoes for dinner. Also got to sort 3 baskets of laundry.

Right now am sat in bed watching Match of the Day and taking it in turns with DH to refill the coffee. Will walk the dog so she doesn't explode with pent up dog joy but other than that am doing bugger all other than watching more football this afternoon and eating.

About to make my 2nd cup of coffee 😴 Didn't sleep very well and this wind hasn't helped either.

Will be a home workout later today rather than going to the gym. Need to get some housework done after decorating. Then it's a nice bubble bath and showers all round, read my book and watch some TV later lol Not sure about tea yet, but made a Sunday dinner last 2 weeks so won't be that today lol 😅

About to head to the airport. Off to the US for work for a few days. I plan to spend the flight sleeping. But I am not good at sleeping on planes, so will probably end up watching films and reading. With no one needing me to do anything for them!

Contemplating making my second coffee. DH is watching Yellowstone for the millionth time. Boys are upstairs getting ready for Sunday School. Bit of light housework this morning and then meeting a friend for coffee this afternoon. Have to lift some files from work for tomorrow. Pie for tea. Kids aren't back to school until later in the week.

Just had cup of tea in bed. First day of my week off and it’s so needed. Been a really tough week at work and personally.

Wind is howling outside. DH and DS chatting about computer games. DD still in bed. DCat complaining she suddenly doesn’t like the cat food she’s eaten for years and I’ve just bought a massive case 🙈

Low key plans for today. Bacon rolls. Watching football. Kids still off another week here and no clubs today. Will enjoy the rest!

I'm having a lovely lie in with coffee and pastries. DH and DS outside washing the car. We might head up to a car boot in a bit but it's blowing a hoolie out there! Then a walk with the dog, late lunch and swimming for DS. Got an hour or so work to catch up on later, trying to start the week on the front foot!

I'm going to watch the Paris - Roubaix cycling race on TV, which starts soon. DH is cooking lunch which will be two sorts of curry. Later this afternoon I've got some letters to write.

Good morning Lucysmam and others. @scaredysquiggle I wish you the very best. I did that many years ago and my life instantly became more peaceful.
I've been to Aldi for food for the week. It's away and a washing is in the machine. I'm waiting for a friend to phone. She's having ill health and it's getting her down, so a listening ear is required. Later I'll visit mum then cook a gammon joint and make pineapple upside down cake, both for dinner.
