Some idiot just woke up half the town by riding his old banger of a two wheeler

why so much noise to move one person

OP posts:
Remo22 · 06/04/2024 02:10

I hate this noise
We have three bikers in the neighborhood and they wake me and my baby because of it

I hope they get babies and people keep waking them up to feel the pain 😂😂😂

SheepAndSword · 06/04/2024 02:17

Just up watching the Fisher King with a cup of tea!

Yesterday was a bit of a nightmare so I'll probably have fragmented sleep tonight. Not due to motorcycles though :)

Bunbum · 06/04/2024 02:19

I’d rather that than what just woke me up… my 3yo projectile vomiting EVERYWHERE.

But it’s generally awful being woken unexpectedly. I won’t be able to go back now… I might manage an hour if I’m lucky but typically once I am up, I am up!

Today will just be about survival until bed time I suppose 😅

Remo22 · 06/04/2024 02:20

@Bunbum am so sorry i wish they get well soon
Poor baby
Must feel bad on his/her side as well

Manyandyoucanwalkover · 06/04/2024 02:21

I’m awake in pain. I’ve had my pain killers, so just hoping to drift off sometime soon.

goldenretrievermum5 · 06/04/2024 02:23

I’d happily swap you that noise for a banging migraine.. too painful to even try to sleep it off

HollyKnight · 06/04/2024 02:24

Are you in NI by any chance? If not, then there's more than one antisocial biking knobhead out n about tonight. 😑

Starship21 · 06/04/2024 02:35

Suffer with insomnia. 3 hours sleep at best each night. Tired of feeling tired all the time :(

TisTheDarnSeason · 06/04/2024 02:38

Insomnia getting more frequent here. I wake at the slightest thing now and can't drift back off again. Pisses me off; sleep used to be my superpower.

BusyCM · 06/04/2024 02:44

One teen came home at 1.30am.

Another came home at 2.30am.

Dog barks at the door opening.

Mum awake for hours whilst teens and dog sleep until lunchtime.

indecisivewoman81 · 06/04/2024 02:47

Staying at my mums house and can't sleep in an unfamiliar bed. Having a slight panic attack at how tired I'm going to be tomorrow when we are supposed to be going out for the day. Been laying awake for hours now.

CannaeBeArsed · 06/04/2024 02:53

Insomnia here too thanks to having too much on my brain.

MyBigFatGreekSalad · 06/04/2024 02:55

Just finished a night feed but wide awake now so made a cup of tea and watching desperate housewives😂

Sunnysidegold · 06/04/2024 03:14

Started a new medication today and I think it's messed my sleep up. Giving up and watched three episodes of Motherland.

Scattynatty1 · 06/04/2024 03:17

for goodness sake please don’t take magnesium as a sleeping tablet

amylou8 · 06/04/2024 03:41

DP has been snorting in my ear since 2.30. About to give up and make coffee.

Flittingaboutagain · 06/04/2024 03:45

Can't switch off after night feed. Also home alone with baby and missing my toddler so much who has gone on ahead for a family trip as baby is poorly.

CountFucula · 06/04/2024 04:17

Even just a couple of glasses of wine means I wake at 3 and can’t sleep again 😩
celebrating a birthday so had a drink but regretting it now!

peloton2024 · 06/04/2024 04:18

Haven't slept yet. Bloody insomnia

Zamazenta · 06/04/2024 04:23

The rain is hitting the window horizontally so the noise woke me and I have a UTI so ip to the toilet anyway

catinthetinhat · 06/04/2024 04:30

Staying in a hotel on a busy high street. Firstly drunk people
Coming home from a night out, then a power cut and now no water. Never been in a hotel with both issues in one night. I also have this annoying cough which doesn't help matters.

SparklyLimeJoker · 06/04/2024 04:35

I'm an unpaid carer and my cared for doesn't sleep much. 20 years I've been doing this you would think I'd be used to the lack of sleep by now but I'm on my knees with tiredness.

LateMumma · 06/04/2024 04:40

Insomnia here, it's every night at the moment. Anything more than 4 hours and I'm winning 😬

pinkwaterbottle9 · 06/04/2024 04:45

Been awake most of the nice now fully up as start work at 5.45am

pinkwaterbottle9 · 06/04/2024 04:46
