The main square in a southern European city, with its bars, restaurants, festivals and weekly market.

We have rolling fields view from our living room with horses running around and we had full width bifolds put in to enjoy it - there's not a day goes by that I don't look at it and realise how lucky we are. There is a big lake further along but sadly we can't see it from our home - I really wish we could, never happy 😂

A field with horses in it.

A busy little harbour with lots of comings and goings, and bad storms

WingSlutz · 03/04/2024 21:39

Either the sea, or the London cityscape, from
the south side of the river.

Water definitely. The sea, or by a river or lake. I can sit for hours by water.

God I’m so boring, even in a fantasy house I start worrying about coastal erosion, windy weather and the impact of salt on the woodwork….

Haha same

A big swimming pool 🥰🥰🥰🥰

NewMe2024 · 03/04/2024 22:35

Oh, definitely the sea.

Overlooking the coast in Sorrento. I'll never forget the breathtaking view from our hotel the first morning - we arrived in the dark. Also the view of the Old Course St Andrews with the sea in the background.

LetMeGoogleThat · 04/04/2024 07:23

The sea at the front and mountains at the back.

mrstambourinewoman · 04/04/2024 07:39

Fields with a forest at the back

FoleyHuck · 04/04/2024 07:45

Ours does overlook the sea, but then a storm blew in and took the roof with it and now we can't live there for what is shaping up to be a year, so careful what you wish for!

I'd now prefer an outlook similar to my friend; he's rural so pretty views but his house backs on to a hill so he's protected from the prevailing winds.
