Am on the gin for Easter! But realised my supplies are depleted.
Anyone got any recommendations for good ones lately. I like a flavoured gin.

Recently got into Rutland marmalade gin.

Caoruun- Scottish small batch gin 😋

Cuckoo gins are lovely, my favourite is the sunshine one. Booths stock them if you live in the north

Following! Im looking for a nice one, too much choice!

Servalan · 31/03/2024 23:34

I'm very partial to 6 O'Clock Damson Gin...

WaitingforCheese · 31/03/2024 23:39

Sadly no booths, north east rather than north west.
I’ve been debating marmalade flavour because I do love marmalade but damson seems right up my street.
tea gin, what Witchery is this?

Yes, Tobermory gin. It's divine and is my current favourite. So smooth and well balanced with good botanicals and hint of pepperiness. Very classy.

mrsfollowill · 31/03/2024 23:45

@WaitingforCheese it's lovely- honest! - I like a dry gin and had this with Mediterranean Fever tree. Hit the spot for sure - much nicer (to me) than sweet/fruity stuff. Gin

Chickpeamasala · 01/04/2024 00:00

I like the look of the tea gin, will put that on my list to try. I'm also totally over the sweet and strongly flavoured gins, I've not had one that I've likes much (apart from Tanqueray Sevilla)

Pocket full of stones Rose Gin. Delectable!

DelurkingAJ · 01/04/2024 00:04

Buy very cheap gin in the autumn and make blackberry gin. It is amazing!

Hecatoncheires · 01/04/2024 00:26

Whitley Neill Black Cherry gin is lovely. I also like Tanqueray’s Rangpur and Sevilla.

Watchkeys · 01/04/2024 00:28

Double damson!

Papillon Dartmoor Gin Double Damson Gin (papillongin.co.uk)

My favourites are North Uist Distillery Downpour Dry or Pink Grapefruit Gin, followed closely by Caorunn. Both delicious

DrLucyVanPelt · 01/04/2024 07:57

Second Cuckoo Gin - Sunshine and Solace both delicious

Tanqueray Kir Royale

Gin Mare

Aber Falls do a delicious orange marmalade gin

SpamhappyTootsie · 01/04/2024 08:13

If you are anywhere near Durham, the Ginstitute on Silver Street has a great range and will let you try a selection of the type you like.
Second Cuckoo Gin and they do online orders.
Lytham Gin/Sandgrown Spirits have a good range. The Navigator is fierce! I’m not a fan of fruity flavoured gins but the Zesty is light, not overpoweringly fruity and has a refreshing kick. If anyone has the opportunity to go to one of their distillery evenings I can highly recommend.

Newyearoldhair · 01/04/2024 08:29

Nordic gin is lovely.

mitogoshi · 01/04/2024 08:49

Shetland gin, the blue bottle specifically. So nice

chickensaresafehere · 01/04/2024 08:49

Three Wrens Gin

Ovaltiner · 01/04/2024 08:55

Where in the North East are you, OP? Hepple Gin is lovely if you can get it (food hall at Fenwick in Newcastle stock it).

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 01/04/2024 09:49

Still a fan of Brockmans - not a flavoured gin as such but berry flavours. My favourite flavoured gin is the rhubarb Edinburgh Gin (Lidl do a decent similar one.)

KnickerlessParsons · 01/04/2024 10:14

My favourites are Roku or Gunshot gin.

Carelesswispalover · 01/04/2024 10:16

Roku Japanese gin is my favourite and I have tried a lot of gins!!
