Am on the gin for Easter! But realised my supplies are depleted.
Anyone got any recommendations for good ones lately. I like a flavoured gin.

Whitley Neill Black Cherry gin is lovely. I also like Tanqueray’s Rangpur and Sevilla.

Whitley Neill Black Cherry!! I was trying to remember the name of this one, had it at Christmas - absolutely lovely.

Mermaid pink

They've also released a citrus version has anyone tried that one?

Sarvanga38 · 01/04/2024 10:21

I’m not a fan of a lot of flavoured gins, but I love Chase Pink Grapefruit & Pomelo.

Have tried it, it’s OK. Wouldn’t buy again (but then I don’t like the Mermaid pink either, love the original).

@Sarvanga38 thank you that's really helpful

Make a rhubarb (and ginger?) gin? Gardens are full of the stuff rn

AuntyMabelandPippin · 01/04/2024 14:17

Love the Mermaid Pink Gin, but the Citrus one wasn't as nice. The original Blue is good.

Also Salcombe Gin's Four Seas Special Edition.

Hendricks flora Dora is absolutely lovely if you like Rose and lavender. They also do a new one called grand cabaret too which is really nice.

TinkerTiger · 01/04/2024 22:13

Mermaid, my favourite is the citrus (green).

Isle of Harris.

QueefofSheena · 01/04/2024 22:20

I’ve currently got an Aber Falls marmalade orange one on the go. I also like the Tanqueray blackcurrant royale. I’ve had the Fallen Angel blackcurrant one but it’s not as nice and about twice the price, mainly for the bottle.

weegiemum · 01/04/2024 22:44

The Harris Gin. Amazing and has the most gorgeous bottle too.

Also my dd1 made infused Christmas Cake gin at Christmas for presents and it was wonderful. She's a bar supervisor in an upscale fish restaurant and got the idea there.

Tanqueray Sevilla is very good

Tanquery Sevilla is my favourite gin ever

uncomfortablydumb53 · 02/04/2024 02:31

Bathtub is my favourite

Radiatorvalves · 02/04/2024 07:00

Tanqueray Sevilla. S much nicer than the rather unpleasant Beefeater Orange one. Also like the Chase Pomelo Grapefruit one. And homemade Rhubarb gin (using Tesco gin).

WaitingforCheese · 05/04/2024 00:03

I typed something on here and it wiped it.

some amazing suggestions to look at, been to a city today with DC but no chance to look!
I’ve seen someone suggest Apple which interests me, I got a pear flavoured one from a small supplier and that was great. I’d love a proper cherry flavoured one.
I see orange ones around a lot but not sure I would enjoy, even if I do like citrus.

Glendalough Irish gin. The botanicals are so amazing, it is to me the way gin should taste..

CherryMaple · 05/04/2024 01:39

Three Wrens Gin - Blood Orange and Apricot is my favourite. They have Apple Crumble (also very nice) if you fancy apple OP.

Harrysmummy246 · 05/04/2024 01:40

Yes, I was just about to say the black cherry one
So good

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 05/04/2024 04:03

If you ever find yourself in the Canadian Rockies, Banff in particular, I highly recommend the Park distillery’s Alpine Gin.
