Just went to Darjeeling Express - really lovely Indian food.

Thali from Masala Zone is my favourite when in that bit of London. So good! I was put off by the restaurant name as it sounds like a cheap takeaway, but it's a lovely restaurant.

Cinnamon Bizarre (Maiden Lane) or Kitchen (just behind Picc Ciricus next to Ham Yard). The Lyric for a drink first

Kricket (sorry autocorrect!)

If you think Dishoom is too chain-y ( personally I don't mind it!) there's always Mowgli, which I'd take over Masala Zone any day of the week. ( although I appreciate that Mowgli isn't near Leicester sq)

Insane queues for Dishoom when I walked past on Friday.

Brasserie Zedel - consistently great, lovely dining room - French not Italian or Indian though

Cork and Bottle - cute underground restaurant right on Leicester Square

Yes Cork and Bottle! I was going to recommend that one!

I’d book. The good places are often full at popular times and you’ll end up in some crap tourist trap.
