Weddings. I’m just not a fan. I’m delighted when friends get married but generally find the day long and boring. Yes, I’ve been to some absolutely beautiful weddings and had a lovely time but generally speaking, I’d prefer to be doing something else.

That’s my unpopular opinion!

Immigration must be controlled. Holding this view doesn’t automatically make me a big fat racist.

We need to close the borders to immigration.

Being in the armed forces doesn’t make anyone a hero.

Equally there shouldn’t need to be charities to support veterans, it’s the government’s responsibility people are sent to war zones and there should be proper support available.

I think that there should be periodic checks on social housing tenants to make sure they still meet the original criteria. I've seen too many single mothers move a well-paid boyfriend/husband in.

I've just moved to a heavily Muslim area and I didn't think it would be a problem as I don't care what religion /colour anyone is but no one will speak to us at all.
No one says hi.no one smiles (they speak and smile and greet each other!)

In the local shop they don't speak to us apart from saying the price of the shopping.

I will literally say good morning, how are you today? , and the guy doesn't even acknowledge me.

Totally agree about weddings, even my own was a bit tedious at points. I really don’t like large group gatherings.

i don’t disagree that the NHS is broken, and could be run more efficiently, but I find it crazy that people think the answer is the private sector- it’s no less incompetent!

private health care will only see costs to users spiral- look at vets. It now costs a bloody fortune to treat your pet if you aren’t insured. It’s due to vets charging huge amounts because insurance will always cough up.

also look at US - thanks to private healthcare and insurance system, losing your job and then getting ill can ruin your life. I remember Americans being up in arms when Kate Middleton gave birth at the Portland- apparently her private healthcare at the Portland cost far less than the average birth in the United states!

I agree, and I think anyone who believes all the tabloid bullshit about Megan is ridiculously gullible, I wouldn’t believe anything written in the tabloids there’s always an agenda.
