I know nothing about rowing. What on earth were they thinking there? Is there a risk they could be disqualified at the end?

I took my eyes off the screen at a critical moment to MN, so didn't see how they came to be in line.

Cambridge seemed to move over a bit, then corrected when warned. Baffflingly Oxford seemed to aim straight at them and then I think oversteered out. But I'm not a rower, so that could be rubbish.
