What's going on at yours this evening?

I'm just cooking a quiche for tea, with chips and beans 😋 Dd2 doesn't like quiche so she'll have nuggets. Mentally planning to make soup tomorrow - maybe roasted carott and fennel.

Dd1's laid in bed doom scrolling 🙄 she's waiting impatiently for next month's work availability to be released so she can book herself on some shifts.

Dd2's in the shower, it's hair wash night so she may be a while.

After tea we'll tidy up, shove the hoover round & me and dd1 will shower. I'll then chill with the end of my book & get an early night 💤 Last one before the Easter holidays tomorrow & I am knackered 💤💤 so ready for the break & some actual crafting time!

DH is frantically working like mad before he has a week off from tomorrow. DD is inhaling crunchies in her bedroom watching Netflix. I'm hibernating on the bed with a cat, about to go and attempt to make a Chinese GF fakeaway for tea...

What feels like 2 weeks of back to back constant riding and stable club commences tomorrow for DD, I'm sure she'll come home to sleep and eat at some point. Just looking forward to a week with DH not working and no school related drama!

DT2 lying in bed scrolling, dogs waiting for a walk DH's job especially as it's freezing, I'm going out to teach a fitness class in half an hour. DS's dinner in air fryer, the rest of us will eat when I get home later - sausage chips and beans - slutty dinner night tonight - my favourite 😂

Pizza for dinner as we've been working since 5.30am, then an early night.

DH has just taken DD (10 months) for a catnap.

DS is in the snug watching Netflix.

I've just washed DD bottles, now off to get ready for Zumba class.

No idea what anyone is having for dinner 😂

Right now I'm meant to be having a nap after work, I'm tired but I can't sleep so I should sleep better tonight. DH is napping. When he asked up I will have a shower and he will get our evening meal ready. Meatballs chips and beans I think as he hasn't got anything out of the freezer. (He is retired, I work, so he does the meals on work days).

This evening we will watch some episodes of Dalgleish and go to bed around 9pm. It's never-ending excitement round our house! To be fair neither of us are very well, I'm 63 and he is 70, and we are fairly decrepit.

Ds1 just came in from a walk and left a trail of mud everywhere.....ds2 playing on PS4 with his best friend. I've got a beef massamman curry slowly blipping away

Nowt. Was supposed to visit friends in Wales but had to cancel due to.illness. Might try and read- struggle to concentrate. Quiet here. No noise. Have a good evening everyone

Just put the first pizza in the pizza oven. Wash on.

We will eat, tidy and I will hang washing.

Then I will take eldest football training, DH will take youngest swimming.

Then home, tidy and prep for tomorrow , bath, wine!

Great spinning class this morning, followed by an hour in the gym, then lunch and a gorgeous dog walk of a few miles, followed by a pint at the local.

Chilli made and settling in for some trashy tv with the dog.

Lush.

I've got some jacket potatoes in the oven to go with ratatouille and grated cheese, a cup of white tea, then later will finish off watching Heat.

Pack up a parcel to be sent tomorrow and meander to the supermarket at 9pm.

I'm just about to make food, easy leal tonight, oven chips, fish, and peas. Ds 2 isn't very well, so he has spent the day on the sofa. DS1 is playing on his computer it's already half term here in Wales. DH is off work from now, I'm working then off for 4 days. I'm looking forward to a break, even if it's only 4 days. Early night I think.

DH WFH so he has to take DD to the dentist then collect DS

Ooooh loving the midweek thread @lucysmam ! What a treat 😂

Currently stood sardined on the fast train home (Hence the genuine excitement finding this thread whilst doing my own doom scrolling!) Grabbed tacos to eat on my commute but the train is unreasonably rammed so I’ll be scarfing them in the car.

Meeting sister and DS at the station then off to hobbycraft and Tesco to find some last little bits for this weekends egg hunt. After that home to collapse with a bit of TV I think!

Dh and I just got home from work. He is cooking curry, dd is home from uni and is doing some work. Ds is working on his GCSE tech coursework, and I'm the one doomscrolling after a day of doing mock GCSE speaking exams. We are all having a bit of family banter, calling out to each other throughout the house . We'll maybe play a game together later and watch something silly on tv. Might have a beer. Breaking up tomorrow for 2 weeks, and I've brought no work home for a change!

Dss 1- yelling st video game in his room ( totally normal)
Husband's step kid- sleeping like a slug but not likely to come upstairs unless hungry since we no longer speak
Hubby- working
Me- recovering from surgery and thinking about what the heck I'm gonna make for dinnerq

I'm just going for my shower now. Wondering if I should soak off my old nails but cba 🤷‍♀️

I have a long weekend so I'm meal planning and then I'm going to relax, I wanted a bath but I've hurt myself so no chance there 🥲

Courgette lasagne made and scoffed by DS3.

DH and I will eat after DC bedtime (some curry our lovely lovely neighbours unexpectedly brought round).

Bathtime for me and then TV, knitting and Mumsnet til podcast time & bed. Rocking evening but I am 8 months pregnant so that's what I can manage right now making the most of the peace!

I'm cooking fish and chips for me and dp. Dd16 and DD8 have already had tea.
DP is on the sofa scrolling through his phone, dd16 is in her room on FaceTime to her friend and dd8 is playing a game on her tablet.
After we've eaten it'll be soaps and bed for me, kids break up tomorrow, I work teen time so I'm ready for some time off

DD aged 2 is asleep. Husband is out helping a local man with Photoshop and I'm in bed about to read my book with a cup of decaf tea!

DH has just cooked Chinese which we've all inhaled
DS16 is walking the pooch
DS15 was dropped at the gym at 4, and will come home when he's hungry
