I'm just cooking a quiche for tea, with chips and beans 😋 Dd2 doesn't like quiche so she'll have nuggets. Mentally planning to make soup tomorrow - maybe roasted carott and fennel.

Dd1's laid in bed doom scrolling 🙄 she's waiting impatiently for next month's work availability to be released so she can book herself on some shifts.

Dd2's in the shower, it's hair wash night so she may be a while.

After tea we'll tidy up, shove the hoover round & me and dd1 will shower. I'll then chill with the end of my book & get an early night 💤 Last one before the Easter holidays tomorrow & I am knackered 💤💤 so ready for the break & some actual crafting time!

I've just taken the dogs for a quick wee outside and it's bitter, so am happy to be sat back down in the warm. I've had the grandchildren all day and am absolutely knackered so it's a night in front of the TV here.

I'm in bed feeling sorry for myself with an awful cold, dh is cleaning the kitchen after dinner, ds3 is in the bath, ds2 is cleaning out his lizard's vivarium, ds1 is doing homework. We have already had parents evening consultations this afternoon which were mercifully online and I did a decent job of not looking and sounding like a complete biohazard.

Just about to put rice on to go with chilli made earlier. First DC due home from uni imminently . Beds made, fridge filled, I've finished work for the long weekend. Think I'll pour a G&T. Cheers!

I'm debating whether I have enough energy to redo the sealant round the loo.
I fancy an early night regardless.

Just done some gardening with DH. I planted 6 heather plants, put out two containers full of flowering plants by the back door, weeded, put bark down around the house. Then had a bath.

DH has been wfh today and came out with me to the garden.

DD has been to school and is now back here. DS has been gaming.

Not sure what we will do for dinner, maybe a Chinese takeaway as its late and that's easy.

Finished work, collected DC2 from childcare and went to grab few food bits from the shop. However we ended up timing it right and got a haul of discounted stuff so plans for tea changed. DC2 had already eaten at childcare so he treated himself to a Lidl bakery doughnut 🤣

Dc2 fed the dogs who also benefitted from our haul and upgraded to salmon and kibble

DC1 had a individual (discounted) steak pie, chips and peas.

I had half a (discounted) spinach, pepper and feta quiche and chips.

Now the DC's are having some gaming time before showers and bed. I have made myself a brew and have retreated to bed for some peace from the Fortnite gunfire!

DS watching some shite on YouTube. I'm having a glass of wine as I'm off tomorrow. DH in the kitchen cooking a Gousto recipe.

Nothing! Just came back from offer holder day (which was yesterday) in Glasgow: bus this morning at 10.39, train at 11.36, tube at 4.10pm, another bus at 5.00...walk rest of the way! DD has come down with a bad cold having just recovered two weeks ago from another and had gone to bed. I have to go to the Isle of Wight for a quick day trip tomorrow and frankly would rather not leave the house!
So tonight I'm going to do the simplest supper for me, and veg out in front of the TV!

This evening, just vegging out watching TV.

Earlier I fed neighbours’s dogs.

Not cooking this evening as we were bought lunch by friends.

Two kids are upstairs taking it in turns to shower and argue over Pokemon cards, one teen is out at his girlfriends, other teen has his boyfriend over and they are watching tv on the sofa together.
I’m procrastinating starting an essay and waiting for hubs to get in from work.

Standing in my room randomly beside the ironing board, avoiding DH downstairs who is snoring away with his belly out with his football you tube stuff on the telly..... Me and the kids are escaping to my mum's for a bit once they're finished their snacks...... Fml.

DD babysitting for neighbours, DS gaming. DH and I ate a supermarket fish pie and are catching up on telly. Somehow we’re all knackered midweek already.

Eldest son and girlfriend have come in with McDonald's, they are looking at houses for sale online.
18 yr old is talking online to friend in Sweden.
I am having lazy evening, had a lot of early starts in a row. Reading, scrolling, listening to music, got a day off tomorrow after seven 4.50am starts in a row.

I've just had a shower after a long day on placement in a hospital. I had cheese on toast for tea. DH has gone back into work as it is his last week of this job and he is conscientious. Ds1 is playing a game on the pc, ds2 is watching TV and ds3 is in the bath. I am about to round up 2 and 3 for bed.

I posted upthread, I've had my supper which was lovely, watched a bit more of Heat (it's a loooong film).

I have custard and clotted cream in and wanted to go to the supermarket to get an old fashioned pud to go with them...but it's raining ☔️☔️☔️

@shellyleppard you just gave me inspiration for my weekend shopping list. We’ve got massaman curry paste in the fridge and a can coconut milk. I’ll add some stewing beef and vegetables to the Tesco order.

DS and his GF are upstairs and she is staying over.

DD is out with work friends.

DH started work at 9pm, won't be home until tomorrow morning.

We both had different leftovers for dinner.

I just set up my planner for April, did my shopping list, paid some bills and looked at my route to an event I'm going to at the weekend.

I can't settle to anything else but I'm nowhere near tired enough to go to bed. I'll just toss and turn. I think I'm going to read.
