Can anyone please help me find my wedding ring

Getting quite panicky now, I just can't find it anywhere and I'm currently not well so can't remember where I last had it.
Can anyone please help me?
I've tried retracing my steps as much as I've been able and am trying to pray to St. Anthony.

Sorry OP

Sit down and try to relax.

Trace back your movements over the last ? three days or so. Write it down if needed.

When would you have noticed it not being there? When must you have had it... then trace your movements again. Try to visualise everything as you did it.

Thank you for your reply
I noticed it lunchtime today. Have traced back everywhere I usually take it off- bathroom, kitchen windowsill, with my other jewellery- and there's no sign of it. Like I said I'm not very well so the last two days I haven't done much. So I'm positive it's in the house!

Last time I lost a ring was in the bathroom.

I was washing my hands in warm water and it came off and went underneath the plughole thing (we have a pop up one if that makes sense?)

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 25/03/2024 19:19

Try inside the medicine cabinet. I put mine in there heaven knows why once when I was washing my hands.

MBappse · 25/03/2024 19:19

Do you normally take it off for washing up or shower?

Is it in your bed or back of the sofa if you be been unwell?

Did you do any clothes washing?

Inkypot · 25/03/2024 19:21

I found mine under the bed one day. Not sure how it ended up there but maybe worth checking in case. Also check pockets in case you've taken it off and put it there for safe keeping.

WildFlowerBees · 25/03/2024 19:23

Aren't you meant to ask St Anthony to help you find lost things? Maybe give him a try 😬

TeaAndStrumpets · 25/03/2024 19:23

Mine once turned up inside a Marigold glove. Have you done any cleaning recently? ( I know you are off-colour so possibly not.)

VelmaVenkman · 25/03/2024 19:23

Is there a place you keep circling or going back to? I find if that happens, it's usually close by.

OMGitsnotgood · 25/03/2024 19:24

Dressing gown pocket?

Is it loose or would you have to have pulled it off?

WildFlowerBees · 25/03/2024 19:24

Christ, teach me to skim. You've already asked him!

FayCarew · 25/03/2024 19:26

I lost mine years ago. I retraced my steps and found it inside DH's shoe, which
I'd been cleaning that morning.

Arielhills · 25/03/2024 19:26

My husband left his in his pocket the other day after doing some washing up.. have you been wearing a dressing gown or similar that has pockets?
I’m terrible for leaving mine in windowsills, mine are (hopefully) currently on the kitchen windowsill because I was washing up earlier and forgot to put them back on
Could they have been knocked off a bedside table and rolled under the bed?

elQuintoConyo · 25/03/2024 19:30

Pockets

Socks

Inside a duvet cover/pillowcase.

Rolled off cupboard/drawers/table.

Left on a windowsill and taken by a crow.

Left on a low table and tail-wagged off by a dog (happend to me) or knocked off by a cat.

Near medicine/glass of water.

Ineedaweewee · 25/03/2024 19:32

Someone I new found her ring down the side of her sofa between the cushions .

TheSnakeCharmer · 25/03/2024 19:36

I once lost mine whilst gardening. I found it under the last plant that I redug up. I also lost my engagement ring only to find it five years later. I had put my hand into a box of stationery and if must have become lodged and slid off. I had never expected to see it again. If it's in the house you will find it, but the chances are that it has slipped off your finger somewhere constricted if it's no where obvious.

purplecorkheart · 25/03/2024 19:52

If you have been ill try lookung among your bed sheets and duvet. I am very unsettled when I am asleep while sixk and have removed my rings in my sleep because they felt itchy.

Mairzydotes · 25/03/2024 19:55

In the car?

RedLem0nade · 25/03/2024 19:56

Apron pocket or where you keep hand moisturiser??

lostmyring2024 · 25/03/2024 20:22

I'm still looking... Trying all the places suggested, nothing yet 😢

DinnaeFashYersel · 25/03/2024 20:26

I found mine stuck to baby's bum when I changed his nappy.

MyBrownEyedHandsomeBoy · 25/03/2024 20:27

Last time I lost a ring, I found it on the bed.. then I remembered I'd taken it off when putting my tights on so it didn't ladder them

Firefly993 · 25/03/2024 20:31

Did you take it off cooking? Baking? I took mine off making burgers once and found it in the bin in the mince packet!! If you were cooking check any packaging or peelings in the bin

WimpoleHat · 25/03/2024 20:37

1). Do you wear it with other rings? I always wear my wedding and engagement rings together, so one is likely to be near the other. Is this the case for you?
2) When would you take it off? I take mine off for sleep and bath/shower, for example - so would look by the side of the bed or a shelf in the bathroom. Any other places you usually take it off? Have a good think and then go and search that room.
3) Have you left the house since lunchtime when you remember having it? If not - don’t panic - you know it is in your home somewhere. Try and be methodical and think through what you have done today - that may give some clues as to where it is.

Good luck!
